We were really pleased to see that this place had opened, as we have family living in the area and it’s great to have a home base vs a room in the nearby Premier Inn. We have found as our baby has turned into a toddler that we now require a separate room when he’s out to bed (sitting in the dark after you put them to bed isn’t ideal). The option of having a small kitchen was great for giving our son breakfasts and snacks so we decided to book this place and give it a whirl.||||First impressions were ok - they have spent money on doing it up... eg Neff hob and oven in the unit we were in. However, given its been open only a short time its already showing significant signs of wear and tear e.g. cracked tiles in the bathroom and stained wall next to the job (no splashback). The more time we spent in the unit, the more it began to smell of cigarette smoke. The units are apparently non-smoking.||||A main niggle for us was that the towels were not clean... well, they were washed, but stained so badly that the person putting them in the unit when cleaning between guests could not have missed it. I felt this was unacceptable and so I sent a polite text to one of the numbers detailed in our welcome email asking for a fresh, clean set of towels. I never received any response back or any new towels whilst we were staying there (2 nights). Really disappointing as that could have been easily fixed.||||However, the main issue for us was the ridiculous light in the bedroom. We could only assume that it was in place as some sort of indicator of where the fire exit was. However, it was so bright, it lit the entire room up. Luckily we had some eye masks with us (totally coincidental, and something we rarely, if ever, have to use), but we also had to put our son’s cot in the hallway because he was so unsettled by the light during the night. See photos!||||This place could be great, but I think the main issue is that they’re not sure who their market is and therefore how to meet their needs. There was evidence of foreign workers using the place (lots of vans with foreign number plates in the car park), but also short-stay ‘tourists’.||||With some minor changes, better customer service and taking on board some feedback I’m sure this place can improve.

7 of our family booked this to scatter my mums ashes at near by crematorium, we arrived to dirty shabby accommodation.front door didn't lock making the premises unsafe. It felt very seedy and like a local crack house. men coming and going throughout the night ,3 of the party would not stay and the other 4 checked out after 1st night. Wouldn't surprise me if there is hidden cameras in rooms , JUST AWFUL AND NOT CHEAP CHECKOUT PHOTOS , bookings .com it says permanently closed why still take bookings ?

Three days before our arrival date I received a message from the provider advising that there was a “problem with the booking and alternative accommodation was available in a four bed property”.||||The alternative was 305 Morrison Close, not a property I would have ordinarily booked but given the short notice I had no other option but to accept.||||This property is NOT OK to offer a family. The provider should be ashamed of themselves. ||||On arrival we were greeted by a mountain of cigarette butts at the back garden, an old fridge freezer, a discarded BBQ, black bags of rubbish and the wheelie bin had maggots!||||The whole house clearly hadn't been cleaned since the last guests checked out. The filth was a disgrace, there was an opened bulb of garlic in one of the kitchen cupboards which stank the place out. Crumbs on the worktops, table, chairs, literally dirt everywhere.||||The bathrooms were filthy, the towels that had been left had seen better days, one, more like a rag, had two massive holes in it. Not even one toilet roll had been left.||||Email from the provider advised that the WiFi code could be found on the router, it would have been an idea to actually install the said WiFi as there was no router to be found.||||I couldn’t wait to get out! Having spent all of the first day away from the tip of a house we returned quite late in the evening to discover that the gas heating didn’t work resulting in no heat or hot water. The tired electric shower upstairs just about done the job. The heart was knocked out of me that I didn’t even have the energy to phone the on call number provided.||||The spiders in the house were that big that we actually give them names. ||||Safe to say I will never be returning to this property.

Room clean and tidy, me and my friend are staying here as we are contractors working locally, the only thing that let's this place down is there is no free wifi/Internet as stated, so can't keep in touch with work to pass emails and job data back to them via my laptop. ||So if your a business man who's thinking of booking the North Briton look elsewhere if you need Internet for work.

It seems this place is run on a "hands off" basis. Check in is web based and you'll receive a code for your apartment via email. ||Rooms are clean and facilities are good. Value in excess of the price you pay.||||Just one small criticism. What's the bright green LED (that you can't switch off) doing in the bedroom? It lost you one star and very nearly a second.||Take an eye mask so it won't bother you.

Lovely, clean modern apartment and rooms. I was particularly impressed by them having all the amenities to cook with a 2 hob oven and grill all with pots and pans. If you ever need a place to stay around here I recommend staying here.
