4 night break with Edwards coaches.
Payed a bit extra for a double room with sea view and balcony.
Well worth the extra.
Excellent location
All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food very hot and tasty.
Entertainment very good.
Lift to the esplanade right opposite hotel, £1 return.
An excellent all round break will definitely return.

We were impressed by the website but disappointed with our experience. Greeted by a floral stand overflowing with dead flowers and a heavy, scraping entrance door. Ground floor bedroom opened on to patio and large garden requiring serious attention. Room had no telephone link with reception and we had to complain twice about a banging door above us .No fridge or safe. Staff were pleasant and breakfast good but just one waitress to attend to too many tables. The hotel was definitely not value for money.

This hotel has fab views,good food and outside lift access straight down to Shanklin promenade but more importantly the staff go above and beyond. We realised at first meal we needed to use a wheelchair at table and it wouldn't pull in close enough. The next meal a new table had been brought in just for our convenience and given plenty of room and easy access. Prior to arrival spoke to staff,as we were part of a coach trip, who gave us most suitable,accessible rooms on the ground floor. Cannot fault friendliness and helpfulness of all staff. The breakfast was a little slow. The table was not laid well every time there were items missing. |When we arrived there was a big coach party already at the hotel, they were concentrating more on them at breakfast then the rest of there guest. |Entertainment was excellent, location good, but I did enjoy my time.

We stopped off for a drink on the way back to our hotel after a long day walking in the sun. The bar looked nice (even though we were expected to sit outside with our dog), but the gent sat watching the football turned out to be the barman and refused to serve us until the coach party arrived. The bar was empty and the beer garden was empty, it was a real shame as it would have been really nice to enjoy some peace away from the hustle and bustle of the seafront. The front of house said their bar opened at 430, and we were past that. The place had the potential to be busy but the staff were more interested in their football and betfred slips than serving customers, which was a real shame.

Stayed one night on a walking weekend. Reception team were very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded from single rooms to double and triple rooms. Rooms were very clean. Mattresses were firm (hooray). Bathrooms were super clean and the showers had great pressure. Breakfast was basic - I had a good full English which set me up for a long walk. Location was amazing!

Staff were very friendly and helpful but the hotel has seen better days. Food was adequate. Loud AC unit and uncomfortable bed prevented a good night's sleep. Swimming pool was lovely.

Perfect service, room just right and the beach is a stones throw away as is the town centre. Highly recommended and not the first time I’ve been. We’re already looking to book for next summer. I can’t thank the staff enough for their friendly and welcoming attitude.
