The Manger at The Old Barn in Bethersden was so cosy and welcoming I was seriously wondering if I had accidentally walked into somebody's home, I felt like Goldilocks! The hosts had thought of everything, from providing fresh bread, butter, eggs, cereal, yoghurt and milk for breakfast to the biscuits alongside the tea and coffee. I loved having a choice of a bath or a walk in shower. The fully fitted kitchen has everything you would need, including a washing machine and ironing board. The bed was comfortable. The heating was already turned on when I arrived on a chilly wet day. I will definitely stay again.

My Wife and I were attending a family function in the village in the evening and stayed at The Old Barn. ||We found the place very easily using the the sat nav. The entrance to driveway etc is via the farm next door though. ||The room was very clean and comfortable and would have been more than adequate for a longer stay. It had twin beds which were pushed together, but we were advised of this at time of booking. ||It didn't have a ensuite bathroom, but we were advised we were the only people staying on the landing it would be all ours. The bathroom was clean and spacious and had a large shower bath. ||Breakfast was what one would expect, you had good choice, plenty of food and the service was excellent from our hostess. ||All and all a nice B&B which we would use again if the need arose. ||Carl.

We've had a wonderful time this weekend celebrating my husbands 40th birthday, the house is stunning, clean and spacious, it's so warm and cosy we didn't want to go out! The welcome from the hosts was perfect with unexpected personal touches to make our stay more memorable! Breakfast was fabulous and first class, really tasty and hot! We will not hesitate to return and will be recommending to friends! A little gem in a lovely village with a nice local pub to go for a meal and drink. Well done Leslie and Andrew, five from us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful friendly welcome even though we were later arriving than anticipated. Our bedroom was beautiful, overlooking the gorgeous garden and very comfortable. Our hosts recommended a lovely English pub for a carvery and made the booking for us. Breakfast was excellent in a beautiful dining room very tastefully decorated. Very convenient for the Channel Tunnel. Will definitely go again when in the area.

My partner and I stayed here over the easter weekend and what a beautiful place it was. |We received a very warm welcome that extended throughout our stay. ||The location is in beautiful surroundings and offers parking - be careful if visiting though the entrance is concealed. ||Our room was comfortable and have tea and coffee facilities with a fridge and fresh water and milk. It was not on suite though but the bathroom was right next door. ||Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very accommodating. |I stayed at the location while my partner went off on a pre planned trip and the hosts were able to give me lots of tips for rambling in the area so I visited some nearby woods which were in full bluebell bloom. ||There are two local pubs to eat at if you don't want to go into ashford so there is an option to eat locally. ||Loved my little weekend break here and would definitely visit again.

The welcome was very friendly. Andy and Leslie are simply very nice people. The room is very spacious as well as your private bathroom. We could use the garden and the living room and all of that felt very welcome. Everything is clean and neat. We had to extend our stay with one more night and that was possible, despite the owners being away that day. We therefore even received a reduced price. All in all, we will definitely come back next time we go to Kent.

Stayed at the Old Barn and were not disappointed. We were in the twin room overlooking the garden, which was lovely. The whole place was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were in the lovely olde-worlde dining room and were beautifully cooked. Our hosts, Leslie and Andrew, were there but "not in our faces" all the time. We were given advice on where to go and what to see - Sissinghurst, Bodiam, Scotney and Smallhythe - all within easy travelling distance. We sat in the garden after our days out, lazing in the sunshine. Dinner was at the Bull, just a few hundred yards walk away and it was really lovely. Beautifully cooked, well presented and thoroughly recommended. All in all, we couldn't have done better. PS: You must go up the road to the local butchers in Bethersden and buy some of their sausages too! A great place to stay.
