The manager, Bonny, was very helpful from the first email, answering all my questions. I arrived late after a horrendous journey, my room was easy to find, the light left on for me, my name on the door. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. First class, highly recommend

I would highly recommend this accommodation! I live in Menorca and booked The Old Chaff Mill for a one night stay for my Husband who was returning here from a long weekend in the West Country! Bonny (the proprietor) was so helpful and friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure my husband's stay was comfortable and hassle free! Each time I e mailed I recieved a friendly and detailed response almost immediately! The room was excellent and the location so convenient for Bristol airport. |We will definitely be using this again!

What a great place, the accommodation is absolutely excellent close to the airport, safe parking, great amenities inside. The WiFi is open and connects automatically. Tea and coffee on arrival with fresh milk. The rooms as spacious, clean and tidy. We will 100 percent stay again.

Booked here on recommendation from a friend as I had an early flight next day and the airport is a 3 hour drive from home. I wasn’t sure what to expect from reading reviews, and after a miserable, drive in horrible weather conditions I arrived at 19:30 - cold, tired, and wanting nothing more than a clean, warm bed, and cup of tea. |I was met by Bonny checking out of her window as I drove up, she came straight out and showed me where to park - right by my room, then kindly offered any help with my bags. The room/bungalow was so warm and cosy, it was everything I needed and more. She asked if I would like to settle the bill then - or when I collected my car 4 days later. I chose to do it then, they accept card or cash. I can honestly say I was so grateful for such a warm welcome and lovely accommodation. |The 5 minute walk across the road to the airport in the morning added an extra chill-out start to my break. I’m so impressed I’ve already booked stay again! 😊

My parents booked a room but unfortunately couldn’t make it due to ill health, emailed in July to cancel the booking as per the policy, didn’t get a response so emailed again. They then took £75 out of my parents account saying the never received the emails, yet it was on a thread of emails previously sent arranging the booking. Received terrible service from them. I rang them again today to try and sort the issue and Bonny spoke to me then without warning just stopped talking and refused to answer when I asked if she was still there. Probably the worst customer service and absolute lack of professionalism. Won’t be booking with them again and I’d advise anyone else not to either.

The premises are great and so close to BRS, it's 15 mins on foot, door to door. Great find!
The manager is chatty and helpful. We stayed in a beautifully renovated barn with a country kitchen, mood lights and sound system... Unfortunately the beds were creaking at every movement and mattresses weren't comfortable. Not a good night sleep.
Also, the floors were properly dirty, cobwebs on the steps on the stairs, dusty sofa... more attention on cleanses is really needed.

My husband faced the prospect of being stranded in Bristol airport at midnight as his flight was delayed from Menorca and the car hire company at Bristol airport closed at 10.30. |I contacted Rob Lovell at The Old Chaff MIll by telephone (from Menorca) to explain the situation. He actually responded within 15 mins by calling me back on my Spanish mobile to confirm that there was a room spare and would immediately reserve it for my husband. 30 mins later I received an e mail supplying detailed directions and other very useful information including the fact they had left a light on for him in his room and that his name was on the door. The service could not have been more friendly or accommodating. |As it happened luck was on my husband's side that evening and the car hire company (AVIS) stayed open to wait for my husband's arrival. I then e mailed Rob to explain the situation, thank him, and apologise for any inconvenience as my husband would not require the room. I offered to pay something for the inconvenience and promptly received an e mail back saying there would be no need and that they were only too glad to help. WHAT A BREATH OF FRESH AIR! A huge 'Thank You' to Rob for helping with what could have been a very difficult situation. The kindness and hospitality he showed was next to nothing and we will certainly be using The Old Chaff Mill for future accommodation if and when we need to. Again, Many Thanks, |Gail & Richard

This is a fantastic place to stay if making an early start to Bristol airport. We’ve used this place a few times now. Friendly service, fab clean and spacious rooms and not feeling like you’ve been ripped off. I would recommend for sure.
