Arrived with six other family members and three dogs on Saturday 29th March 2025 having left a poor reception at a nearby sea front venue.
We had a great welcome by friendly staff and our table was reserved at very short notice.
The food was very tasty and great value topped with a cracking local cider.
This place has the feeling of a great “local” with real characters dotted around with a warm glow around the place. Proper boozer with charm.

Delicious Sunday roast. Fully booked but was able to sit in the garden as the sun was out and tables outside are first come first served. Only a small portion of the garden was open, and the rest cordoned off which didn’t make a lot of sense and created a crowded and chaotic experience. Nonetheless it was friendly service and really enjoyed the meal.

I would describe this pub as rustic and traditional. Table service was provided. Staff are attentive and amazing. Food was really good. Parking onsite. Food served all day.

Went here for Sunday Carvery.

The carvery is not self-serve! A bit of a personal pet hate.

Eventhough I said to the server, I'll have everything, I'm very hungry and whatever goes on the plate will be eaten, it was the same size as everyone else's. I definitely wasn't full after.

Comparing it to someone who had a small carvery, it was pretty much exactly the same. Except, the large comes with 3 meats instead of 2 and a different size plate. But essentially, a very similar amount.

Large carvery: £14.99
Small carvery: £11.99 or £12.99 (can't remember).

Saying that, the food was nice and the service was good.

A pint of Asahi was £6.95!

Love this place. Had the most amazing tasty t bone steak. So good and great value for money. Peppercorn sauce was to die for . My fav place to eat in clevedon xx

Very disappointed as recently had the Sunday carvery, but not very good. Previously had a good carvery, but this time portions small and the meat was carved very thin! Three very small cut roast potatoes, looked like tiny quarters! Both still hungry after eating the meal. Landlady serving the portions and gave the smallest amount of vegetables and meat when dishing up. False economy really as won't be trying the carvery again for a long while and will go elsewhere in Clevedon, where the carvery options are more generous!

Very good carvery today (Sunday). We hadn't booked but they made room for us and the food was excellent. Had lunch there today and equally good.
