What a wonderful place to stay, location was ideal for us, we were heading for monkey world which is literally a 10 mins drive. ||The room was lovely, very spacious, parking is excellent |The hosts do a wonderful job, very friendly and the breakfast is lovely, fresh quality ingredients ||There are 2 pubs within 10 mins walking distance The Drax and the Royal Oak, both very welcoming |Almost forgot the Al pacas, 3 gorgeous girls that live in the paddock, they love to say hello.||If ever we're down this way again would stay again

Just returning home from a two night stay at the Old Mill, visiting the area for a wedding.|Great location, charming property and our hosts could not have been more welcoming. The owners parents could not have looked after us any better! ||Breakfast was superb, eggs from the chickens in the garden; an introduction to the Llamas, anti-histamines when my hay fever flared up and even help retrieving our car the morning after the wedding. A genuinely lovely couple to meet.||We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the Old Mill and hope to stay again in the future.

A delightful overnight base and the Mill is full of character, a great location for exploring the area, with a lovely warm welcome.|We had a large room with all little extra details making it lovely, and the breakfast was exceptional. Thank you for a lovely break.

We stayed two nights this weekend, to celebrate my 71st Birthday and visit Lulworth Cove and Monkey World . David and Lorna were very friendly and very much people persons . The former watermill is in a very quiet location. Our room was well appointed with a large double bed and everything you’d need from such accommodation

Cannot say in words , what a lovely place , lovely owner who serves a very good breakfast and is so helpful parking on site, just will not stay anywhere else if touring that area in fact I'd go out of my way to stay with David,

Family run b&b in quite village with everything you need near by, good pubs a shop, country walks. On site are chickens and alpaca’s! Nice little garden. Amazing locally sauced fresh ingredients cooked to order for breakfast! Weather permitting you can eat outside. Lovely little touches around the place and in the rooms. David was a really lovely super friendly host 10/10

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at The Old Mill. For the first 3 nights we stay as a family which included our 88 year old mum, taking 3 out of 4 rooms. All the rooms were very comfortable, spacious had endless tea and coffee facilities, with plenty of toiletries, the bath robes was a wonderful extra too. TV in each room and perfect WiFi. The separate shower on the 1st floor was perfect for mum, the other 2 rooms had a shower over the bath. Breakfast was plentiful, juice, cereals and cooked breakfast to order, all delicious, lots of homemade jams & marmalade’s too. David, Lorna and family were great hosts very welcoming and friendly, would not hesitate to return.
