Absolutely perfect for our two nights stay in Cheddar! The accommodation is self-contained and immaculately clean. Our host, Lyn, was amazing! Before arrival, I made her aware that I was gluten intolerant and vegetarian. She prepared a breakfast for me with fruit, yoghurt and compote, along with a mixture of nuts and seeds to sprinkle on the top. It was divine! Lyn brought breakfast over to my husband and I at 8am on both mornings along with fresh apple juice. The location is excellent with Cheddar Gorge only a 10-15 minute walk away!

We just spent 2 nights at this lovely place. Good location, only 15 min walk to the restaurants and the gorge. It is a compact little room and very clever use of space with everything you could need. (A mini kitchen and a good shower). Lyn is very personable and went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Her homemade baps and cinnamon rolls were delicious and were the perfect touch for our countryside getaway.

Lyn and Franky's property is a great place to stay, if you're visiting Cheddar, and the wider region around Somerset and North Devon. The guest house is a really decent size for 2 people, is well laid out and has all the amenities you would expect. The property is only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Cheddar, as well as a range of pubs and restaurants. Lyn provided great recommendations for places to visit and where to go for dinner. In the morning you're served a homemade breakfast using ingredients from the surrounding farms and local shops. Highly recommended!

The self- contained annex was very comfortable. Lynn was an amazing host showed us all round our accommodation. Even showed us how to walk to the village. Offered we could read the books and if we got interested were welcome to help ourself. She was very friendly and chatty. |A very tasty breakfast all locally sourced. A comfortable bed and a good sized room.|If you wanted to stay for a few nights there is a microwave, stove and fridge so you can self- cater if u don't want to eat out every night.|Lyn also gave excellent advice on local amenities and restaurants and adviced us to book Bath Arms which we did.|Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.|

Fabulous stay! Greeted with the friendliest of welcomes and gorgeous home made cake and chocolates. The room was lovely and functional and had all the essentials. Breakfast baps were the best weβd ever had! Will definitely be staying next time we come to cheddar.

This is a fabulous place to stay. The host was so friendly. The room was great with excellent amenities. The location is perfect for exploring Cheddar; just a 10 minute walk into the town. Parking is right outside the room. |The breakfast was brilliant. My hubby had the breakfast bap with locally sourced bacon, sausage and egg. I had fruit, homemade granola, yogurt and local honey. |Definitely worth every penny!

This is the best Bed & Breakfast I've ever seen!
Jackie is the nicest person on earth, we had such a hard trip and the first thing we got at our arrival was a self-made cake - how delicious!
The rooms are wonderful, with lovely decorations.
The breakfast was incredible and she gave us so many hints on where to go and what to do.
It really felt like home there and we will definitely come back!
Clear recommendation!

We stayed in the Cell for 3 nights for local walks. Jackie was the perfect host. Our accommodation was warm, clean and very comfortable. We were given fresh slices of cake each day with our tea & coffee making facilities. The breakfasts were very well cooked and plentiful. Perfect for a day of walking. There are quite a few pubs in Cheddar and Jackie pointed us in the right direction for which ever one suited our particular need (quiet, for food, for an afternoon chill). We would love to visit again one day. Highly recommend.
