This guesthouse is a fantastic place to stay. Clean, the host was so friendly and couldn’t do enough.  The decor was very historical which was themed around an old post office with fantastic artifacts around the building. Not only a pleasure to stay but also the hight of interest.  Hythe is equally beautiful. This guest house is in a fantastic location just off the main high street but equally quiet at night and we stayed at the weekend. The bed was very comfortable enabling a good night’s sleep for the following day and the room was large. Recommended. High praise.  Would stay again.

A very quirky accommodation, lots of postal memorabilia around.|We were greeted by Jamie ( and Charlie the oooch) and were able to check in early. Jamie was the perfect host and pointed us in the direction of The Red Lion just across the road, for lunch. Gave us some cards which offer 10% discount at various eateries. |Breakfast not included here but we went to Ivy’s just a short stroll away and not bad at all. Best to check opening times too.|Paid parking adjacent to property. Ringo app.|Enjoyed our time here, we were lucky with perfect seaside weather, spent time on the beach and had a trip on the little steam railway about 5 minutes away.|Job done!

My Sister & Nephew stayed for one night and the whole building was immaculate throughout along with Post Office memorabilia and related ornaments absolutely everywhere - it was like a school field trip. As children, we used to go to Hythe with our Mum to 'help' out with the weekly shop, get a pie from Rooks, gaze & absorb the aroma from the fish display in Griggs so it was a privilege to be able to go back in time & revisit our childhood in a building that has been tastefully styled to have a modern day purpose in the lovely town of Hythe. Several local restaurants offer a 10% discount if you have stayed one or more nights. However, beware - we went to the Everest and the discount was replaced to the exact amount as a service charge, although now amusing, I can't help thinking it's a bit cheeky and I wish we'd gone to eat elsewhere. No such thing as a free lunch.

We usually stay with friends when we visit Hythe, this was not possible this time so we booked into the Old Post Office. Friendly and informative welcome from the host.A beautiful spacious room, comfy bed. Quirky, tasteful decorations. We had the postmasters suite at the top of the building which gave us an interesting view down to the high street. No breakfast, but provided with a discount voucher for nearby restaurants and cafes. Would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone.

Very clean, comfortable and with a good-sized fridge and microwave. The central location made it an ideal base to go exploring in all directions and the owner, Jamie, is super-helpful. No breakfast or parking is provided but there's a pay&display car park (with EV charging) very nearby and free unrestricted on-street parking just a 5 minute walk away.

The accommodation was excellent, the welcome was first class and the communication was at just the right level - not intrusive, but there when needed. The host was able to point us towards a fantastic place for breakfast and we were able to get a discount on the food bill.||||A most welcoming place to stay, thoroughly recommended.
