We stayed for a night at this inn while on a cycling tour starting from Glasgow. We were met with a warm welcome by Peter and able to store our bikes in the shed for the night. The room and bed were very cozy and exactly what we needed after a long day of riding. The inn is conveniently located next to a grocery store for any last minute food items or essentials. Finally, the included breakfast the next morning was the perfect send off the next morning! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and were met with warm and attentive service at every turn. Thank you!!

Friday night dinner and the food was excellent and plentiful cannot fault any of the food served to us. All cooked to perfection and served to us warm and well presented. Such a nice gentleman serving us 10 out of 10 for his attention to our table he could not do enough for us. Will definitely be back and would not hesitate giving a great review for dining here. Thank you.

Just back from an overnight in this wee gem. The family were very welcoming, room had everything you need and breakfast was amazing. Nice central location too.

A really good place to start our motorcycle tour of Scotland. Rooms are basic but good value albeit a little noisy on a Sunday night if you’re upset by the sound of people having fun in the bar, I was not. Staff were great laidback but attentive, a real skill. The food was great value. Thanks for a great start to our trip.

Stayed here on Saturday night as we were up for the Blues and Jazz Festival. Yes the hotel could do with a bit of TLC but you get what you pay for and we were more than happy, large warm cosy room and when we came back at night for a wee drink before bed singer was on and the locals were lovely and friendly. Yes we went to bed and could hear the music and people talking but I normally take ear plugs anyway as I'm a light sleeper so didn't bother me. But yes be aware if you want an early night they do have live music and seems to be busy on a Saturday night so you can hear people talking etc. We had a great nights sleep and got up to a lovely breakfast. I can't complain about anything as I said you get what you pay for and for £80 for both of us B & B we were more than happy. Would actually like to go back with friends as i think they would enjoy it too.

How nice is it to find a place with such nice staff, very reasonably priced beers, lagers and soft drinks. It doesn't end there either, 3 course Sunday lunch that can't be faulted ( we had beef) for just £12.95. Also the two of us had a beautifully cooked steak with all the usual trimmings and a free bottle of wine for just £40. Next time we are down Callendar way we plan on trying to book a room in this great small family ran hotel.

We came in for the sunday brunch. Today was the first day of the new festive menu. Is was delicious. Pleasant people.nice dining room in christmas style. Off street parking

We booked this stay through Hotels.com , not knowing what to expect but what a find.|We had a large double aspect room with all the required amenities (but why have a Nespresso machine but no pods to go with it?). We had breakfast in the hotel and dined both nights. We thoroughly enjoyed all the food. The owner and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. My last visit to Callander was 65 years ago, I wish I’d returned sooner.
