Absolutely lovely stay, beautiful gardens and rooms in the house. The breakfast was cooked to what time you wanted it and it was boiling hot. Host was lovely and very knowledgeable about the local events on. Beds were comfy and we even had a private bathroom. For the price we paid we’d definitely stay again!

I stayed in this B&B for 2 nights, the proprietor was cheerful and made me feel welcome. The B&B decor had a nice homely manor house feel, my single room had everything I needed and a shared bathroom. The price was also very reasonable. Thank you for a nice stay.

You may be at risk if you are not white or are LGBTQ if you stay here.||||Stayed in the Blue room (single bed). The property is an old house, so expect single glazing and some creaky floorboards. Unique property, with lots of interesting pictures throughout. No complaints about the breakfast, with a choice sorted the night before of what you want (cereal, orange juice, cooked items, toast, jams, hot drinks etc). Bed I'm this room might be a bit tight if you are 6ft plus, due to it's position against the walls.

Absolutely fantastic stay here. Room was a lovely size , comfortable bed and the breakfast is fantastic.

Host was delightful and will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the area.

This wee gem of a place has to be the best I have ever stayed in. Host's were amazing, breakfast was served in the most beautiful library ever. Saturday night was spent just listening to a piano concerto that my host kindly put on for me. So peaceful. I could not fault one single thing.?

This B & B is an excellent place to stay. The hosts are extremely friendly, intersting and helpful. The food is excellent. However the best thing about the Old School House is the library/dining room- its incredible.||||The location just outside of Berwick is quiet and beautiful - there is plenty of walking paths round about and its withing easy access to Berwick itself.

We had an overnight stay on our way back to Birmingham. What an enjoyable stay. Good breakfast in the library!! Can't speak too highly of this place. If we travel up to Scotland next year, we'll have no hesitation in staying there.

Peaceful, elegant with a taste of history. The house is immaculately cleaned.
The owner was very carying. The Old School is located in a quite and remote rural area. The shops are slightly remote. Parking is perfet and the breakfast is booked prior to bed time. Fresh jam, homemade by Mrs Jones are served and are also for sale.
Sharing a bathroom might be a downside but was a gem and unique experience
