What a great find. Visited Melton Mowbray and stayed here just out of town. Room had old school character and modern day comfort plus, joy of joys, off street parking.
Host was attentive, friendly and helpful.
You could easily base yourself here, without having to drive anywhere and take advantage of the local walks and nearby pub.

We travelled to Burrough on the Hill for business while filming at the local “Get Busy Living” Centre down the road. The Old Stables was a perfect place to stay. Very warm welcome and 2 beautiful rooms. The wood burner in our bedroom was fantastic. Breakfast was tasted hearty and varied. We will definitely visit again!

Myself, my wife and our two young children had a great stay. The rooms were immaculate, the hosts very friendly and the breakfast was made to order and delicious. The kids had a great time exploring the garden.

We had a lovely stay in the Old Stables. Very nice accommodation in a quiet area. Clean and well stocked with tea, coffee, milk, biscuits etc. Nice countryside views.
Fran went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. If we’re ever back around this way we’d definitely stay here again.

Family welcome to these beautifully appointed converted stables. Our hosts were incredibly helpful, personable and flexible. The rooms were airy and spacious, with generous gardens. The facilities were excellent and well thought through for travelling couples or families. What more could you want?!?

Lovely room, huge bed, Excellent en-suite, Brilliant Breakfast, very helpful hosts and a good pub doing really nice food just down the road. What more could you want? It would be very hard to find a better B&B than this.

....a wee gem of a place. Separate from the main house so you feel as if you are staying in a lodge-type hotel. everything is first class - I've stayed in 4* hotels that weren't as nice as this lace. ||||there is a cracking pub just over the road - apparently it is 120 paces there, and about twice that on the way home! thoroughly recommend staying here.
