For those working away a fridge a microwave are a novelty, of which the room included these. The room was comfortable and included off road parking. Only exception was the shower bath. Georgina was a helpful and obliging host. Shops are close by and the pub would be nice to go too also, I assume. Would stay again if I was down on the South.

First impression was it looked great. Landlady seemed friendly however, the rooms are basic. The wifi is non existent in the stables rooms. The to signal is poor. Advertised as all rates include breakfast which is misleading as it doesn't. When you ask if a friend can stop the the price is doubled... even though the service is the same. Beds got made initially but then stopped. Had to buy my own toilet paper. When paying extra to have a friend stop, you don't get more towels. You get biscuits on the tea tray, but not replaced daily. Curtains in my room are stained. As was the bed sheet. |Honesty, giving 2 stars is generous.

We stayed as a group of 5 with no other guests. It was perfect for what we wanted. Felt like our own little cottage. Breakfast was lovely, as was Anne. Would not like to share with strangers though as no en-suite rooms as it is a house.|Yes it's old but we thought it was charming. Would stay again if we were in the area.

I stayed here recently with my family and would never return. We had booked a private block and then found out that a complete stranger was also with us, with shared facilities, with no lock on the bathroom (which was disgusting), a smoky room which was being used by our baby and children and a complete disregard for customer service by the owner. The room's windows were painted shut in 28 degree heat, there was no lock on my daughter's room (the stranger terrified her by staring at her when she was dressing and she was then too scared to sleep) and you could hear everything from the side and rooms below. Breakfast was fine. We then found out about other guests who had been told that they could not stay, only days before the event, when they had booked 6 months beforehand!

Emailed after my stay with my complaint and request for a partial refund and totally ignored.
Honesty, giving 1 star is generous.

Landlady continues to be rude and rater insulting in her correspondence.

I didn't stay at the B&B but in a self-catering room in the converted stable block via Airbnb. Attractive buildings with pleasant and well-maintained gardens. Nice modern bathroom and comfy bed. Noise from road and room next door was intrusive, WiFi poor and room would benefit from a fridge. Free off road parking very useful and room would be a good base for local exploration.

Breakfast served in the main house was very good and the dinning room was warm, which could not be said for bedrooms, cold and musty. A bathroom to share between 4 double rooms and a sorth of kitched to make tea in.||The lady of the house was charming, its just the place that let it all down, when we asked if we could have the heation turned on. " I think it comes on a 5!" no offer to thaw us out by putting it on, rooms damp and very tired.

I stayed here with 2 colleagues whilst working a long term contract locally. As the only female of a group of 3, I wondered if the accomodation would provide for this, and was pleasently surprised to find the stable block offered communal living with a shared lounge and kitchen and the privacy of my own lockable room upstairs.||It meant we could live comfortably throughout the week, providing our own food and be able to cut expenses down, whilst being able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and Ann's wondeerful breakfasts in the morning.||We were always consulted if we wanted/needed anything else and always made to feel welcomed.||If I am ever working over in South Gloucs, this is my first choice.
