I took my girlfriend out to lunch and it's a lovely pub. We enjoyed eating our lunch in the railway carriage restaurant. Lovely, friendly service. Excellent food. My girlfriend is looking forward to eating there again soon. Highly recommended. Thank you, Neville. 😊

Had a lovely lunch here today while on holiday in Somerset. Visited three years ago and liked it so much we had to come back! Friendly and efficient service and the food was as good as we remembered.

Went for lunch here, and was very impressed with how friendly the staff were from booking it over the phone to our departure, was a wonderful experience, I loved the decor of the pub very warm and cosy with lots of quirky things, then eating in the train carriage was just brilliant, the food was just lovely. A lovely experience, and we will be back. Thank you.

I have been going to the Old Station Inn for years. It is a truly great pub. Really friendly landlord and landlady. Superb service. Great, affordable food. Wonderful atmosphere with the pub being decorated with such an assortment of curiosities. Then there is the magnificent railway carriage!

Lunch very enjoyable, we were a large party, everything cooked very well, all on time and accommodated all our requests. Most welcoming hosts. Excellent value. Carriage decorated for Christmas season. For groups and family meals would definitely recommend. Many thanks, well done.

A warm welcome from Debbie who showed us around our tastefully decorated; spotlessly clean twin room, complete with bathroom. I liked that the bedsite lamp was on, casting a warm glow and the heating was on. A wonderfully comfortable night's sleep. Amazing grounds and views with many facilities, e.g. basketball, mini golf and seating areas. Ample parking. The bar pays homage to its heritage with interesting curios and provides board games; range of seating and a cheery, local buzz. Dinner in the converted railway carriage was beautifully presented; attentively served and delicious with good quality ingredients; very generous portions and excellent value for money. The wine was of a great quality too. Something for everyone here - I would certainly return; a place not to be missed!

Fabulous meal in the old railway carriage. Good food, excellent value. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

It's a shame the rooms need a makeover - damp, old mattresses with toppers, mould - but really recommend the food and pub which are worth visiting over and over again.
