I really enjoyed my most recent stay at The Old Town Guest House, located right in the heart of historic Hastings.||Its owner, Tracey, is as welcoming as ever and cooks the best Full English, on the south coast, as well as lighter fare as crepes.||The guest house itself is currently being refurbished but is still open for guests. The work did not detract from the enjoyment of my stay. Some have written about the stairs in the building. There are a number of them. I'm in my 70s and can manage them. Just take them one at a time..||Looking for a good value guest house in the centre of Hastings Old Town? You couldn't do better than visit The Old Town Guest House, I have for more than 10 years.

Just returned from a weekend stay here and we were both very happy with our choice. Tracy is very friendly and cooks a great breakfast. Our room was comfortable and warm with everything we needed. | The location is perfect for exploring the Old Town of Hastings. | We would definitely return to this accommodation.

I had a fantastic stay in a great location right in the heart of the old town. While there is no on-site parking and parking in the area can be expensive, this is expected given the location. The double single room on the top floor has a separate bathroom across the hallway, but this wasn’t an issue as robes were provided for added comfort. Tracey and her daughter were absolutely wonderful—always friendly, helpful, and eager to make me feel at home. The breakfast was excellent, and when I needed an ironing board, Tracey kindly set it up for me in the communal area. Overall, a really lovely experience, and when I visit Hastings again, I’ll definitely be staying here!

Pretty central, tall and narrow so there's stairs but if stairs are an issue maybe Hastings isn't for you 🙂
Room was fine, ensuite was great. Breakfast was excellent.

Wonderful getaway with my boyfriend. We loved the lovely seaside bed and breakfast charm. The breakfast was great each morning with nice vegetarian options. The host was incredibly kind and attentive.

Lovely room, with nice facilities and can see the sea. Friendly service and lovely breakfast however the stairs are not for the faint-hearted.
