Liked: Excellent site with flat pitch and a lovely view. Able to get out on our bikes with quiet roads.
Good to have a pool available to use and a take away and shop on site.
Very clean facilities.
Reception very helpful in helping us with directions to get to the site.

Disliked: Would of liked more choice in the take away.
Bins to be nearer to the pitches. They were all at the top as it was low season.

We had a really good long weekend at Orchards, the caravan had really nice outlook over surrounding fields and a nice deck for the sunny afternoons we lucked out with. ||Site had great facilities including heated pool which was great to have the option to use, would be great if the on-site shop sold towels for the less organised of our group who forgot to bring them.||It was a great base to go cycling round the IOW, we got round most of the island with quiet country lanes to cycle away from any traffic.||Close to Orchards were some lovely local places to go for food and drinks - shout out to The Pottery for brunch and The Hut for great views out east of the island. Yarmouth and Tapnell Farms were also very close for activities and eating options, will probably try them when we come again.

Liked: Beautiful site with clean facilities, kids Loved the free pool with reasonable opening times without having to book. Shop open for essentials and take away was delicious & great value for money. Great location with field views. Free WiFi. Not too over crowded. Spaced pitches. Laundrette washers & dryers are of a high standard. Plentiful showers, sinks & loos never need to wait even at peak times in school holidays.

Liked: This was our first time to IOW and we chose this site for the amenities and location. It was our son's first time camping and he absolutely loved it. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools were a hit and the small playground was great to burn off any excess energy. the location was great for Yarmouth and the west side of the island and only 30 minutes from Sandown/Shanklin etc. The staff are a credit to this site and every single one was friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. the cleanliness was really good and the toilet block in particular with a great number of toilets, showers, and sinks. We found the whole experience over the week to be relaxing and fun. If you have young children, the 2 large areas of grass towards the bottom of the park were great for them to play on and our 4 year old made friends very quickly!

Disliked: Nothing to dislike at all

What a lovely place to stay on the Isle of Wight. A quiet and friendly site which is kept clean and today across the site. The pools are perfect for families, the shop is reasonably priced and all staff are helpful and friendly. The location makes it perfect for sightseeing across the island. The only reason I am giving it four stars rather than five, is that in the caravan we had there was black mould in the shower, blinds in the bathroom, the curtains in the bedroom and on the headboard on the main bed, something we would have expected to have been cleaned off.

We recently had a 4 night break over the October half term, with our Grandson. in one of the Orchards Holiday caravans. It was our second visit of the Year. Needless to say we had a great time The indoor pool was still open, snd our grandson enjoyed going for a swim each day.
As always all the staff, we're very helpful, and friendly. This really is a lovely site, in a beautiful location. I am sure we will be back again next year.

A over all great stay. This is our second time to stay on this site (first time with our four-legged family member), and we love the fact that it's quiet and not in your face. The takeaway on site had been taken over and is amazing compared to the feist time we stayed. The van it's self was one of the new pet friendly vans and was very nice and well presented. The only thing we found was the back of the van, where the main bedroom has a path that leads to the bins. This wasn't a problem until the bins were empty in the early morning or when the wind was so strong it wipped around the whole van rocking it. The weather is no one's fault at all, just something to think about maybe. |The staff we lovely on arrival, the shope has what you might need but can be a little pricey. There is a dog field on site. however, we weren't able to you it as there are holes in the fence and no gate. But I'm sure it's an easy fix. Thank you again, and we hope to be back again in the future.

Just returned from a long BH weekend stay in our camper-van at The Orchards. It is by far the best campsite we have visited. We had a hard standing pitch which was the perfect size for our VW camper-can and our medium sized awning. The facilities on site were fantastic. There are 2 swimming pools (1 indoor and 1 outdoor), a small arcade, table tennis, pool tables, play parks for bigger kids and a smaller toddle one. The main facilities block includes large shower rooms, washing up, and a laundry room including irons and ironing boards that you can use. There is a shop on site and a takeaway bar serving food until 9pm. The site is very clean and felt a very safe place to be with my young family. The campsite also offers a very discounted ferry rate, making a trip to the IOW very affordable. Thank you to everyone who made us feel welcome during our stay. Can’t wait to come back!
