Was Cycling from Skipton to Wigan along the Canal so this location was ideal as only 200 yards from the Canal. Julie and Kev were amazing hosts then even put my water bottles in the freezer over night, place is very clean and the breakfast was on another planet, did not need to eat till late evening when i got home it was that filling and sumptuous. Would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel to fellow Cyclist and walkers.

A wonderful and well run place where all your basic needs are provided and at a very decent price. I'm not going anywhere else from now on. I have revised this place many times and it's basically a hidden gem. The staff are top class. I recommend this place to anyone who loves a simple, peaceful and comfortable place to stay. 5 stars isn't enough.

Outstanding breakfast; kept me feeling full all day and high quality ingredients used. Cereal, juice, coffee and lots of toast were also included. The single room was comfortable and clean and the ensuite included a good flow, adjustable shower. I will definitely return.

Nice B & B conveniently located if your attending football at Turf Moor..... close to town amenities.....decent enough room although shower could do with a bit more power. Good breakfast.

The Ormerod is a great place to stay, with comfortable, well appointed en-suite rooms. It serves a hearty breakfast and is great value for money. My Scouting friends and I used it for a base to go hiking in the Pendle area earlier this year as it is conveniently located for footpaths and bus services. It is also close to the town centre for eating out options. We will certainly be looking to stay there again in future on some of our walking trips as Burnley and Pendle are lovely areas to explore. In my own case, I may use it for stay overs for football games in nearby areas due to the great transport connections.

The bed is comfortable with fluffy pillows.The owners are really lovely and helpful. Really quiet and clean. For the price this b and b deserves praise and we will certainly not be going anywhere else.

I discovered the Ormerod last year and have stayed fairly regularly. In fact, whenever Burnley are at home for evening kick offs. From the house it’s a short walk to the ground. See the floodlights. I’ve stayed in many rooms, various sizes, all comfortable and well appointed. The owners are friendly and helpful. |The breakfast superb.
