We were slightly early for check-in but the reception staff were able to find us a room that was ready so we could go straight to the room. Our room was on the second floor and was a good size for two people. The bathroom was also a good size, with a separate shower and bath. It was clean and tidy, and looked modern. There were lots of golfers during our stay, however they were all friendly and didn’t get in the way of using the bar or other facilities.||||We stayed for 2 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast menu had a good selection to choose from, and there was a separate area for cereals, cakes, croissants, juices, etc. The hot breakfast was of a good quality.||||We had dinner at their Sakura restaurant, the menu is limited but you can order from the lounge menu too. The food was ok but nothing to write home about.||||All the staff were very friendly, they were helpful throughout our stay.

Had a fantastic family wedding here. The wedding planner and staff ensured the event ran smoothly. We made great memories. |Thank you to the planners, cooks,waiting staff, violinist (supplied by bride and groom) bar staff the DJ (great sounds) and anyone else involved at the venue. |negatives, the terrace used by guests looking out over the course, there is no outside lighting. (Well, was told there wasn’t) As the wedding went on until 01:00 this area became very dark and at least several people tripped or fell. |Also the bride and groom paid a lot of money for their special day at the venue. The bar the wedding party were using was in general use and a stag party of 30+ gentleman were also using it. Some were also caught in the wedding hall.Surely a separate bar can be set up for differing events. |People have already mentioned the cost and age of the rooms I agree. |I will not let the negatives spoil what was a fantastic day, but hope they can be helpful for future events

4 of us were on a golf break. It’s a great golf course with plenty of challenge. Pro shop staff were welcoming and friendly. Good halfway house. The bedrooms were lovely. We were upgraded to a very spacious suite (thank you). Everything about the room was good. The Sakura restaurant was nice although the golf break included menu isn’t very long. However, the food was tasty. The only thing to improve is the quality of the coffee in both the restaurant and the Spike bar. |We will be back

Thoroughly enjoyed golf here. Reduced rate of £35pp must be a balance of the tee time (2.40pm) and the fact that the greens are being restored. Under repair would be unfair but the attempts to improve drainage result in holes across all greens meaning they are far from smooth.
That said - the course generally is in superb condition, club house was welcoming and food/drink was excellent. Didn’t see any women bar us on the day (playing golf) but treated very kindly by all players and staff which is always appreciated and not always the norm! Will definitely be back - if not to just retrieve the 3 balls lost on hole 11….

Stayed overnight and played the course. The course is a big sweeping open type of course. Outstanding condition with pure receptive greens. Some really interesting holes. Hotel functional rather than attractive. Service was unfailingly helpful and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. Did not have dinner (ate out). Pricey for everything but you get what you pay for.

Great location, beautiful area.

Expensive and dated in places. Some tiles were lifted in the courtyard which just looked untidy. In the room, the shower had black mould up the silicone seal and the shower tray had a sizable crack. The TV in the room looked about 20 years old. I would expect more from a venue of this style and price point.

Overall the rooms were comfortable and of a decent size.

I found the staff very friendly and professional, rooms were spacious clean and comfortable with free wifi that worked throughout the hotel, and air-conditioning which made my room temperature just right for me. The food was a high standard at a reasonable cost. I will definitely use this hotel again when in the area.
I didn't use any spa facilities or use the Golf course as I was travelling through.
Overall very happy with my experience at Oxfordshire Golf Hotel.
