Our wedding at this stunning countryside venue was truly magical, and much of that is thanks to the incredible manager. He’s not just a manager—he’s the heart and soul of the place and made everything flow perfectly.||From the moment we arrived, he was on top of every detail. He wasn’t just coordinating the day; he was everywhere, making sure everything ran smoothly. Whether it was calming down a nervous bridesmaid, handling last-minute changes, or keeping everything on schedule, he managed it all with ease and professionalism.||What really stood out was his warmth and enthusiasm. His energy and humor lit up the day, turning an already beautiful wedding into something unforgettable. He has this amazing ability to make every guest feel special, remembering names and little details that made everyone feel welcomed.||The venue itself is gorgeous, with beautiful countryside views and fantastic food, but he elevated it all. I agree with recent reviews that say the venue is tired and in decline. Our stay was fine in that our rooms were clean. but very tired and sparse. Bed a bit hard for us, but sheets well laundered. Its the rest that was decidedly average. The buildings and rooms need serious upgrading. ||The food offer is generic Indian which was tasty enough but not for every night. Very fee people there and there was no separate bar lounge… just a tea room which was closed when we were there.||It advertises its offer as a wedding venue. There are so many better options I would venture.

Good rural.location but very close to M5 N.Worcester and with more character than the national standard franchises. Breakfast was substantial and good quality and the staff very helpful.

A charming countryside Hotel with excellent views over Worcester. first impressions, a big beautiful hotel with lots of grounds. After reading some of the reviews was a bit apprehensive but I think it’s a nice hotel rooms are spacious nice big bed we had something to eat in the restaurant, which is called Gurkhas country bar and grill the service excellent food tasted great highly recommended the mixed grilled yum. Reasonably price drinks and food. Give this hotel a go it clean tidy very pleasant staff with great food.

Went into the tea rooms and it was lovely cosy and friendly prices much like everywhere else. Overall lovely, would recommend the tea rooms if you're out and about

We held a family reunion in the Garden room which was perfect for the 29 people in our group, age 2 to 76, with plenty of play space in the garden outside for the young and young at heart. |Most of the group stayed in the hotel and we heard no negative comments about rooms. On the contrary, feedback to us included 'the venue was perfect', 'great venue' 'catered for our complicated and ever-changing needs and requests – and always with a smile'. The hotel provided good breakfasts, helping us to sit together and coping with erratic timings. Evening meals offered were from either a simple bar menu or a very tasty range of dishes from the Gurkha Country Bar & Grill which is an integral part of the hotel. |The hotel was conveniently placed near the motorway for our guests most of whom had driven long distances, including London, the Scottish Highlands and Cornwall. All were made welcome by the friendly staff.

Decent hotel and restaurant nestled in the countryside. Approach road is narrow with farming traffic. Quiet area though.

Ample free parking available. There is an Indian restaurant on site. Cooked Breakfast is also available by paying extra but has to be booked by 9 pm the previous day, unless added at the time of booking.

Decent sized room with a bath in the toilet. Large TV with modern apps pre-loaded.

Tea/coffee making facilities.

Also, a wedding venue.
