Stayed in this quaint hotel whilst visiting family. Built in the 1900s it’s an old hotel but, very comfortable and clean. There is a long flight of stairs leading up to little corridors before finally getting to my room.My room was quite spacious with a four poster bed but, the bathroom was really, shall we say, compact!!The lady on reception did warn me it was a small bathroom but, the room itself was of a good size. It had plenty of drawer space and a wardrobe. Tea and coffee making facilities with a nice clean kettle. The room faced the street but, the road noise during early morning peak and the evening wasn’t bad at all. A great little radiator which warmed up the room very nicely. A very pleasant dinning room and bar which served breakfast and evening meals but, you could get a coffee or a drink from the bar in the afternoon. The restaurant and bar were closed from 3pm Mondays and Tuesdays but, served guests with breakfast. The dinning room is on street level so you can watch the passing parade whilst having your breakfast etc..|The restaurant had entertainment on the Sat night which was very pleasant ..|The staff were very friendly and housekeeping was pretty much everyday and I was there for 7 nights. Overall a very pleasant stay opposite a small park and buses. A short walk to shops and pubs …..||Would have no hesitation in staying there again one day…….

Lovely little room, good parking and a wonderfully comfy and quirky reception / bar area. But the highlights? An absolutely fantastic welcome and service throughout, and a full English to die for! Just a perfect base for me and my parents to attend a family wedding. Can't recommend it enough.

A delightful dog-friendly hotel and restaurant in an excellent location with secure parking.||The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable with tea, fresh coffee and biscuits. The bathroom was lovely with plentiful toiletries and large soft bath towels. ||Dinner in Christopher’s restaurant was delicious and offered plenty of choices including tapas or a more traditional fare. Breakfast was lovely with everything we could have asked for. ||Our dog was treated like a guest and we felt she was truly welcomed.||We can’t praise the staff enough: all were professional and friendly, especially Tegan who went out of her way to meet our every need. ||A little gem: our second visit and we shall return.

Decent rooms, loads of towels, comfy bed, nice toiletries and a good hot shower. Friendly, helpful staff and the hottest breakfast I have ever been served. Great choices on the menu and while I was eating a man came in and asked for something that wasn't on the menu, the waitress didn't need to check simply wrote it down and few minutes later it was served.

We stayed overnight so that we could visit the Tamworth Tap. We booked one of the superior rooms, it had a 4 poster bed and an ensuite bath and shower. The hotel is within easy walking distance of everything in the town. Including the Castle and St. Edithas church, both of which are well worth a visit. The staff in the hotel are friendly and efficient even though it was quite busy when we were there.

Had a delightful 2 night stay, room was clean and well equipped with tea / coffee etc, breakfast was delicious. Location is perfect for visiting Tamworth castle, Editha's Church and The Assembly Rooms for entertainment in the evening, all of which we did with ease. Our host was friendly and helpful and pointed us towards The Tamworth Tap for real ale, and to an excellent nearby Indian restaurant a short walk away.

Stayed here on 18th May 24 as we were attending a family 60th fancy dress party. I can't praise the hotel and restaurant enough. Sarah and the other members of staff over the 2 days could not do enough to make our time there enjoyable. We were that relaxed we almost forgot about the party. Great food, lovely rooms and wonderful atmosphere. Thank you from Mark, Wendy, Owen and Louise xx

There is absolutely nothing I could fault this place on,we stayed 18/05 for one night,we arrived early and was going to grab a quick drink till check in time but we were greeted by the lovely Sarah who checked us in and also upgraded us too,all very efficiently.
Our room was stunning, we had the most comfortable four poster bed, beautiful bedding, everything was spotlessly clean,a fully stocked tea tray and also fresh coffee with a cafetiere which is always a bonus!
Again the bathroom decorated beautifully and not a mark anywhere,I've honestly never stayed anywhere so clean!
We ate at Christopher's late afternoon, our party had burgers I had the duck flatbread,
All well cooked and perfectly served, the venison burger is highly recommended as are the passionfruit martinis.
Sarah and her team are celebrating 30 years in the peel this year, its well deserved, they are a hardworking team who can't do enough for you and I'm sure a lot of their custom is guests revisiting, I know we will be.
I highly recommend this place for a weekend break, its s few minutes walk to the castle and the shops/pubs etc,you really won't be dissapointed.
