Beautiful hotel full of history. Ideal location. We had a ground floor room opening onto the stunning gardens. So convenient with our small dog as pets allowed. The meals in both the bar and restaurant were delicious and quality food. The staff go above and beyond. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Beautiful traditional hotel steeped in history. Nestled in a quiet area of Woodhall Spa village. The hotel boasts vast ornamental gardens, water features and wooded area. Our room and bathroom were spacious and well stocked with refreshments and toiletries. Very quiet and relaxing environment. Comfy traditional restful lounge offering a good selection of traditional games. |Would recommend Petwood Hotel if you are looking for a quiet restful weekend away. Woodhall Spa village also has the traditional charm of many independent shops as well as a cafe and "kinema" in the woods.

This was the second time we have stayed at the Petwood Hotel and it was fabulous. We received a very warm welcome and all the staff throughout out three night stay were friendly and courteous, nothing was too much trouble.|The ground floor room had been refurbished since out last stay and was immaculate with a walk in shower. The gardens are wonderful, a peaceful place to wander around. In another month when the rhododendrons are out they will be full of colour. |We will be back.

I was treated to afternoon tea here for my birthday by my daughter and family. It was my first visit and the hotel and grounds are beautiful. On arrival with my husband, we were about half an hour early and had planned to have a quiet drink before the rest of the family arrived. We entered the hotel and weren't sure where to go to find the lounge or bar area. The lady on reception ignored us until my husband asked her where we could get a drink. She was less than friendly and directed us to the restaurant. We found the lounge and bar just before the restaurant. This was a lovely room with views onto the beautiful gardens. My husband was then ignored again for several minutes at the bar whilst 2 members of staff discussed who could have the next break. When our family arrived we were shown to our table in the restaurant. The afternoon tea was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. However, my husband accidentally knocked over a cup of coffee into the saucer and he politely asked the waitress if she could replace the cup and saucer. She stared at him before taking it away and bringing a replacement, but didn't actually speak at all. It was almost comical if it hadn't been so rude. Thankfully, there was another lady in the restaurant who was much more friendly and she came over to speak to our 2 young grandchildren, and made us feel much more welcome. Lovely building, delicious afternoon tea, but unfortunately, the service was disappointing.

Nice hotel full of history. Room was spacious and very comfortable. All the staff were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was ok, plentiful but could have been better. Not keen on the sausages and the toast was overdone. That said would stay here again, it has a good atmosphere.

Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay at The Petwood Hotel. Staff are very friendly, food in the restaurant was excellent especially as there was a wide variety of gluten free choices. Our room was quiet, bed really comfy and there is so much history all around the hotel and the grounds. We will definitely be going back. Thank you Petwood!

We needed a break after a couple of years cancelling holidays due to both have surgery etc.|Lovely hotel steeped in history and set in beautiful gardens. We had what I believe is the largest room available, so much space. I would like to say it was comfortable but the chairs are so low to the floor, infact my wife could get out of one(thats another story. The dinning chairs need looking at as well a little wobbly. The four posted bed seemed quite small to us and we had a few issues.|The food was fairly reasonable Felt choice was a little limited a couple of dishes were a little bland. Breakfast was very nice we had it served to the room, sausages tasted funny, we had full English both days must have been different chefs as slightly different each day.|The staff are very friendly and do everything to help.|Found it difficult to relax after dinner no where to sit in the quiet either people eating or kids playing.|All said and done would stay again but would book early to get a more suitable room.

Fantastic hotel, we didn't stay the night, we attended a celebration of life. Staff were all very helpful and polite. The food was amazing, buffet style, but a great selection to choose from. Lots of parking and grounds to sit out in, weather permitting
