Stay was fantastic, I can't speak highly enough of this hotel, its absolutely beautiful, in the perfect location with a lovely outdoor area. The whole place is spotless. The food is outstanding. The staff are all amazing, so passionate about giving guests the best experience, they care and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was lovely and very comfortable, the fridge was very welcome feature due to the warm weather, allowed us to have cold bottles of water. The toiletries are of a high standard and the Dyson hairdryer was lovely. We will recommend to others and we will definitely be back, thank you to all.

We booked afternoon tea for £35 for 2. (Goupon)|We were early but that was ok as we waited in the bar. We were told we had to wait to our time slot as the chef needed to prepare for our tea. fair enough.| When the time came up we were taken to a the orangery which was a very pleasant room. Table was set with very pretty plates and cups etc.||Given choice of tea or coffee. No choices of types of tea or coffee given.||Hubbys coffee pot overflowed when plunged (he was being gentle) and this made a mess on the table cloth. We wasn't offered a clean table cloth. Ok not a big problem but would be nice for the table cloth to be changed.||A 3 tired cake plate arrived. finger sandwiches (2 x of each): cheese, ham, salmon and egg. Tasted nice, However they were very cold. Obviously had been taken out of the fridge a few minutes before serving. Not very freshly made. ||2 x slither of homemade sausage roll. Honestly it was about 5 mm thick, at least give us a mini sausage roll each or even 1/2 mini one. ||The cakes. 2 x tiny Victoria sponge, 2 x tiny bit of a mini batten burg, 2 x one bite of lemon drizzle, 2 x one bite of marble cake. These were so small. There was no pastry cakes or anything interesting. ||No choice of scone. Only fruit. as i don't eat currents we took them home for hubby to eat later, He threw them away as they were dry and heavy. Didn't feel fleshly made.||2 raspberries, blackberry and 2 tiny dark chocolate truffles (peas size)||Not once were we asked if everything was OK or If we needed more tea or coffee. One staff member did say bye as she looked up from cleaning a table.||Very disappointing. ||We have been to other venues who supplied a very nice afternoon tea, and didn't charge as much.

The pheasant hotel is a beautiful building set in lovely grounds and garden, however despite the glorious weather today in was empty of customers during lunch session, I was the only customer present. Well I would have been a customer if I had received a more welcoming reception from the staff. This is not the first time I have left without making a purchase due to the attitude of the staff. Surely the management must be asking why thier establishment is empty when others in the area have full car parks. I know this because I was still hoping for a drink and drove by many full car parks before stopping at a local pub where I was pleasantly greeted.

Was a go to place couple of times a year but not anymore. Was a great restaurant with fantastic menu and cooking. Why have great restaurants refrained from serving bread as you sit down, its a dining lifestyle to break bread. Another cost saving exercise to make you buy some crap frozen micro bread to purchase. sorry but too experienced to be fooled by this cheap trick. Staff are fantastic, food was just ok, service was good, just do what you use to do in the past please and add it to the cost.

Stayed here for 2 nights with family 9-11th May.
It is in a Great location! Overall the hotel is clean and the decor well suits a 5 star establishment. The little amenities in the rooms are a treat too, not just your average shampoo and shower gel like most hotels, these are branded, along with a Dyson hairdryer too! I thought the lavender pillow spray was a neat touch. Loved the coffee machine too.
We were delighted to of been allocated the same table for breakfast and dinner along with an allotted time slot which I’m sure made it easier for the chefs as we’re were a group of 5-6 people.
Special mention to the restaurant manager, Olivia and Curtis who were excellent along with the chefs as our food was delightful both for breakfast and dinner.
There was a little wedding also taking place whilst we stayed which didn’t impact us in the slightest.
Will recommend to others and if we ever travelled back to this area again we wouldn’t hesitate in a booking a room.
Thank you very much.

We stayed at The Pheasant for 1 night||We stayed at the Pheasant for 1 night with our 2 dogs while on a short break in Norfolk. Access to our dog friendly room was at the rear of the hotel and the corridor gave easy access to the main hotel in one direction, and to the upper car park in the other. There was an open area further behind that was good for the dogs to have a quick walk. The dogs were able to go with us into the orangery for dinner and breakfast, although we were also given a plaque to hang outside the room if we chose to leave them inside. |Top marks to the staff - they were welcoming and friendly, particularly the evening staff (reception, bar, restaurant), and seemed to enjoy interacting with the guests. Check in and out was quick and efficient. The public areas of the hotel are very nicely decorated and are light and airy. The seating in the bar and lounge area is very comfortable. In fact, everything has been very well thought out.|The room itself had all the items you would expect but there was also a radio, a bedside clock, scented pillow spray, scented diffuser, a makeup mirror that detected movement and lit up by itself, a coffee machine as well as a kettle, a fridge with proper milk inside, a safe, and an ironing board. The hairdryer was not one of those difficult to use wired in versions, but was a hand held Dyson. And a little pad of paper - I missed these little pads during the dark years of 2020 to 2022. These thoughtful additions were appreciated. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows, and the room was lovely and warm. |There are some small points to note - one of the bath towels in the en-suite was very thin, and both bath towels had some stains. The door frame to the en-suite was somewhat worn and needs a coat of paint. Breakfast was very good with excellent choices but the portions served (bacon, sausage etc.) were rather small although I expect we could have requested more. |Overall, it really is a lovely hotel, the staff are a great asset, and we do intend to visit again.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at the Pheasant. Room was bright and airy and had all we needed. We were looking for a relaxing break and this was an ideal location. Food was delicious and served by delightful staff. Special shout out to the barman who greeted you with a big smile and produced some wonderful pre dinner cocktails and to Olivia and Yaz in the restaurant for their attentive service

We stayed for 1 night and booked direct for the bed, breakfast and dinner deal which was good value. The hotel is nicely decorated and our room was comfortable although the signal on the tv kept dropping out. We were a bit concerned as our room was surrounded by people with dogs but to be fair we weren’t disturbed by them. |It’s set back from the road in a quiet area, there’s nothing within walking distance really so you do have to drive out to do things but it has plenty of parking and it’s an easy drive to places like sherringham. The previous night we stayed at the manor in Blakeney (same deal, same price) which we preferred in all honesty. |Staff were excellent at the pheasant , food was good, we especially enjoyed the chefs special spicy salad starter.
