Wonderful people who run this hotel. Clean, charming rooms, and a fairly priced, delicious breakfast. We were even given a traditional home made Indian breakfast one morning, which was delicious.

Wow… what a lovely welcoming and friendly place to stay. Accommodated us after being let down by another accommodation. The mum and son were very friendly. Let us check in early and were very understanding with how stressed we were. Breakfast was lovely and a very reasonable price. Chatty hosts and very helpful. Always checking everything was ok and telling us to let them know if we needed anything. Lovely room, not masses of space but wasn’t needed as it was only a place to rest our heads. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay. Very close to the Southsea seafront too.

I stayed for three nights in early December 2024 and found the place wonderful. I enjoyed the hearty breakfast and the friendly owners. I was able to park my car and walk to every thing I wanted to see. There are two excellent restaurants very close that I visited and enjoyed. Gussepi’s and El Greco. ||The room was comfortable and clean. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

What a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and clean, rooms which were nicely decorated with really comfy beds . Rahul and his mum were so accommodating and friendly, breakfast was the best we've ever had. Can not find fault with anything at this lovely B&B Would definitely stay here again.

Booked here for Victorious weekend but our 'boutique hotel' let us down for a luxury stay the night before. Rahul confirmed and allowed is to stay an extra night at short notice. 🙏
Lovely simple room.
Great for what we needed it for.
Walked to and from the festival with ease.
Veggie fried breakfast every day by lovely Mum
Real personalised service.
Gave us a street parking permit to borrow too.

We stayed for a couple of nights to visit our god-daughter in Southsea. We can not recommend this place highly enough. Just a short walk to the seafront.
Rahul and his mother made us feel so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. The room was perfect and the full English breakfasts were excellent, especially the homemade yoghurt with a lemon essence. They even let our god-daughter join us for breakfast for a very reasonable additional fee. Thanks!
On arrival we were given a parking permit for the road just outside and were allowed to hang onto it after checking out on our departure day to enable us to carry on site-seeing for the morning before handing it back: very useful.
Will definitely stay again if we are in the area and will be recommending to any friends who might be down that way.

Absolutely delightful welcome by the owner who immediately gave us a parking permit for right outside the house. He explained the access code and asked about breakfast. He was so welcoming
The breakfast made by Parvin the owners mum was honestly the best I have tasted. The breakfast room was beautiful. We had homemade joghurt with a lemon essence and a cooked breakfast to die for. Fresh toast and lots of coffee. Wonderful

So lucky to find this gem of a place, Rahul and his mum were perfect hosts, the breakfasts were great and the accommodation clean and comfortable. As we were in Portsmouth for the Victorious Festival the location was perfect and if we go again next year we’ll definitely be coming back here. We had room #3, first floor at the front; large box window, very light and airy and even though we were facing the street (and bear in mind it was Festival time) the noise late on was minimal and not at all a problem. If you want a place 5 minutes walk from the Hover with Gunwharf and Old Portsmouth on your doorstep look no further.
