I enjoyed a simple steak and jacket potato with a lefffe for around a tenner. The presentation of the meal wasn't the best, but the steak was excellent.
Best of all was the room. Generous biscuits and water, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate sachets, but the real treat was that I could use the mug for hot drinks in the restaurant.
Very good location in the town centre close to parking, shops and other bars.

Visted on a number of occasions. The Guinness is always spot on. Poured correctly. The food is excellent value and quality. The ground coffee is very good and amazing value.
Staff are helpful and available. Lewis is the barman stands out. Very polite ,welcoming and efficient 5 star

Easy to get to, rooms can be a bit noisy, but they work for my partner as close to work when he is Bedford. Fantastic rooms for the price and extremely clean! Highly recommended them!

Drinks are relatively cheaper, and there's a good range, from local ales to cocktails. Service can be hit or miss depending on how packed it is, but overall, it’s a solid spot for casual drinks or a meal. Nothing fancy, just a good pub to unwind.

The staff are really lovely, the food is ok but good value. Great value drinks. |The pub does attract some interesting personalities though! Although I'm not a great chain fan, spoons delivers as its says on the tin, and this one is nicer than some I've come across lol.

This is a great Wetherspoons to visit for us as we visit quite a lot. It is well worth visiting. It is always popular and quite often busy. We have always been lucky enough to find a table. The food is great & good value for money. So are the drinks. It is very handy to be able to order most things through the app. There is a downside though. I love the Quorn Wraps I have all the time. But unfortunately I have to go tell the kitchen no Salsa on my wrap as there is no way of putting that through on the app. Which is a shame. Must go to the kitchen immediately you order so as not to get the Salsa. Sorry but not everyone likes hot spicy Salsa.

Huge pub with a good range of beer. The Wetherspoons app is excellent and our pints were swiftly brought to us by cheerful staff. Beer is good and a lot cheaper than what we are used to in London. The pub is almost out of place in town that has some decent areas but is best described overall as a rough town.
