Posh village gastropub. A solid 4-star considering its price and location. Fancy inside, rustic and sunlit outside.

The food was mostly tasty. I enjoyed the duck leg (prefer the cur more than the brest anyways). Tender and flavrful. The spiced nut crumble is a little too strong with cumin. The sauce (caramalized rhubarb?) is delightful.

Roast halibut is not oily and looks healthy, though a bit dry.

Starters arrived after the mains. The cucumber is refereshing, though the ocotopuses are all headless lol. I also hope it’s not fried. The fried oysters are decent. Plump and fresh. The coating is a little too thick.

No local ciders :3

A nice place to stop by but not worth going so far for the restaurant alone.

Lovely pub with emphasis on food service. The food was delicious and portion size was generous. We went for Sunday lunch and it was very busy which is obviously a good sign but I found it a little too busy and noisy. Definitely worth a visit and I would recommend but I wouldn’t go on Sunday as it’s crazy busy.

Great food and awesome staff. Main course was chicken and added the greek salad. Asked for recommendation of a favorite dessert and was very pleased with the lemon ricotta!

This pub is one of the better motorhome stop overs, plenty of room in the field behind the pub for parking, the food is really nice and tasty,we had the added bonus of a band playing in the beer garden what’s not to like, would highly recommend.

The service food and atmosphere was amazing! The severed were absolutely lovely and very efficient. We went on a summer weekday evening. We ordered the roast pumpkin (which was absolutely delicious), feta courgette pastilla, cheese burger and mushrooms with aubergine. It was all really good but I will say that for the vegetarian options there was not a whole lot of food so not super filling so we ordered some more chips which were also yummy.

Very good dishes here. My wife enjoyed the floor. The wine and beer selections was/were/is very enjoyable as to their availability. My children, dogs, and parents also enjoyed the atmosphere. I myself enjoyed the seating area outside, great views of the surrounding areas of Coton. Would recommend.
Just one caravan, the hot tap in the men's toilet was busted.

The food was nice, but portion sizes are small. I do not support the idea that quality over quantity or making the food look pretty justifies a tiny portion that leaves you hungry.

Beyond that, the restaurant is lovely, in a nice setting. There is a large play area for kids. Their cocktails are extravagant, and their desserts, delicious.

Location is off the beaten path and well-worth the visit. Huge car park, great outdoor seating, huge play area for children, warm reception from the staff, well-stocked bar, service is friendly and efficient. The food is varied and delicious. Great for date night, corporate events, birthday or any celebration.
