We were so sad to leave Kate’s beautiful cottage. It is very cosy, a well equipped kitchen and decorated to a high standard. The beds are probably the most comfortable we’ve slept in. There was parking for both cars at the side of the property. Kilchrenan Inn is across the road and gave us a warm welcome and served lovely food. We took the ferry from Oban to Mull, ate fresh seafood on the harbour side in Oban, did some beautiful local walks besides waterfalls and also tackled Ben Cruachan. Needless to say we had great nights sleep in this peaceful cottage. Thank you Kate. We will definitely be back. Cliff & Clare

We had a fantastic stay here in August, it was a last minute booking and Kate had the house ready for us on the same day. The cottage is beautifully decorated and cozy - we really felt we could relax. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed and more, the house was very clean and warm, and it accommodated our family of 5 (plus 2 dogs) really well. There is so much to do in the area and a fantastic pub (Kilchrenan Inn) across the road. Recommend visiting Cruachan Power Station, Avich Falls & Loch, and a trip over to Mull from Oban. We only wished we could have stayed for longer! We'd highly recommend The Posting House. Thanks Kate for a wonderful stay.

Amazing stay- beautiful cottage that has been renovated to a very high standard and is very clean. Location is great- peaceful but handily across road from a lovely pub/inn. Lovely walks and swims near by and our dogs loved it as much as the people! Kate was also a great host- easy to contact and gave us great info. Would definitely stay again.

We had the best time at The Posting House, the place is absolutely stunning and has everything you need, the beds are also extremely comfy! The hamper on arrival is a great touch. The garden is absolutely massive and great for doggies (the whole house is). Highly recommend the pub across the road as well.

We had the most amazing stay at the The Posting House a few weeks ago. We stayed as 3 couples with one furry friend. The host went over and above to provide us with lots of information about the house, the area, things to do and places to eat. Make sure you read this information to get the best out of your stay. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished whilst still being welcoming and cosy. We were in a great location with the Kilchrenan Inn right across the road and close access to the loch for paddle boarding! We were also able to visit Oban, which is a short 30 minute drive away. I would highly recommend The Posting House for a lovely Scottish getaway with family or friends!

Very well appointed cottage. Comfortable and homely. Really great pub opposite and lovely walks from the door (including loch access for swimming). Only one bathroom for 6 people, but this wasn’t an issue for us.
