We had the best time at an event here. Our friend held a medieval banquet for their birthday as part of a LARP game we play. The venue was beautiful and cosy the perfect setting for the event and the staff were so wonderful. They made the night so much fun and got into the spirit of our silliness. The food was exquisite (Six courses where each was impossibly better than the last) and there was so much. The walk up to the tower was lit and there was a fire outside while we all arrived and then the welcome rooms had wood burning stoves to keep us toasty. It has clearly been lovingly filled with trinkets a deco that make the space so unique and aesthetically wonderful. I would absolutely recommend this venue and a big should out to the staff for being excellent and good sports (they gave out game cards and thoroughly got into the good vibes with us)

So pleased we went with the Priests' House as our wedding venue. The building and grounds are stunning, as is the scenery in the local area. The team were so helpful and took so much of the stress out of planning. All of our guests praised us on picking such a fantastic venue, as well as the delicious food! We couldn't have asked for any more - the whole day felt perfect. We'd enthusiastically recommend the Priests' House to anyone.

We honestly couldn’t have had a more perfect wedding day and most of that was down to the team and venue at The Priest House. Everything from the decorations, food and venue to the professional, polite, hardworking and friendly attentive service from the whole team.

The compliments are still coming in from our guests, but the food is up there with top ones with comments of “the best wedding food we’ve ever had” and “I can’t believe how much and how tasty the lamb was”

Conor made our day, he made us feel like you knew us and what we wanted our day to be, you kept us calm and knew exactly what we needed whenever we needed it. From day one when we viewed the venue, throughout the planning with my weird and wonderful ideas - nothing was ever too much trouble for them and did they pull it off!!!

We’ve had so many compliments I can’t even put them into words for you or express our gratitude enough.

Go see it and you'll not be disappointed!

Fantastic location for the wedding we attended. Superb and attentive staff, very professional in their approach as well as genuinely friendly.

My daughter got married on 8th November. We stopped in the barn the night before, everything we needed was there, lovely barn. Connor and his wonderful team were on hand at all times. The food was wonderful (chef needs come live with me). Thank you for making the day so magical.

We were only guests of the wedding so can't say how they are to organise things with, but the bride and groom were delighted and it was an amazing event. As guests, we were well looked after and moved between the rooms as necessary. The drinks weren't too extortionate (a bottle bar with a good selection) and they set it up beautifully for the evening. The good weather allowed us to use the fire pit, which was great. So yes, a very nice place to visit and the bride and groom were most pleased!

As a wedding photographer I absolutely love this venue! Conor and the team are amazing and so organised on the day. I've shot here several times and each and every time has been such a joy. There are so many great spots for portraits too with the gorgeous views of Yorkshire, and the ceremony space just speaks for itself with the amazing windows. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone! 🙌
