We felt Welcomed to The Priory from the moment we checked in. All the staff were friendly but professional. The evening meal was delicious very fresh. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Nice room. At check out we were giving good advice for our onward journey. Would definitely recommend.

It was one of the nicest stays we have ever had on all our travels. We were having a tough day, checked into the Priory, and Natalie was an incredible dream of a host. She checked us in, handled our luggage, provided anything we needed, and set us up for dinner and breakfast for the next day. All the stresses of the day melted away. The staff were so kind from beginning to end. Appreciate Becky's email for help with early check-in and asking if we needed anything. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful. The room was very nice. If you want to go somewhere and feel totally taken care of, this is the place. Highly, highly recommend the Priory Inn.

The Priory is a lovely hotel, the staff are very friendly and make you feel special.The rooms are very nice, clean and spacious. Bottles of cold water were available free all day. The food in the restaurant was excellent as well as the breakfast.Location was ideal for Highgrove and Tetbury is a lovely town.Would highly recommend .

This hotel more than lived up to its fine reviews. We were only staying one night but the welcome we had was warm and helpful. The room was comfortable and well equipped. Our breakfasts were delicious and served quickly. Parking, a major consideration in Tetbury, was easy. The garden in front was beautifully maintained. It was little more than a five-minute walk to the town's centre.

We booked several rooms at the Priory Inn last week for family guests at our daughters wedding which was held at The Great Tythe Barn, Tetbury. The service at The Priory was superior and Becky and Natalie provided a personal service that was brilliant! We were lucky enough to be able to use the Tetbury Suite as it was available on that occasion, to have our hair and make-up professionally done by a make-up artist we had previously booked. Everything had been thought of including coffee and tea as she started at 6.15am and before the kitchen opened. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the building has a history and lots of character. All staff were attentive and made every effort to help things run smoothly. The food is excellent, the portions are a good size and reasonably priced. We can’t thank you all enough for taking the trouble to make our special occasion even more special despite being fully booked. Service like this, really is a rarity these days and we hope to see you again in the future.

Great value.
We were visiting several places between Tetbury and Bath and found this lovely hotel on Google maps. Booked 2 rooms (14 and 11). The room are simple but nicely decorated, clean and comfortable (2 armchairs, storage space and hangers).
Amenities : a kettle, Tea and coffee, iron, hair dryer, free bottle of water.

Bathroom a bit small but perfect for us. No AC ( there's an electric fan).

Very welcoming staff. It was a busy Saturday evening but they took the time to accompany us to our rooms and helped with our luggage.

If you're really picky, you can find some rooms a little bit worn out perhaps?
We will certainly visit again.

Have just had 2 nights in the Priory Inn Tetbury. This is a superb place to stay and the rooms and breakfast was superb. Natalie the manager was brilliant as were all the rest of the staff. Nothing was to much trouble. We stayed with my cousin and her husband who were also very impressed with the whole set. Natalie even suppled a fan heater for my cousin as she wasn’t quite warm enough.|There is nothing you can fault about the Priory Inn or its staff.|We will be returning.

My sister and I stayed for one night at The Priory on 7th May 2025. We had a very pleasant ground floor room with comfortable beds and every item you might need (iron: ironing board, hairdryer etc) including facilities to make tea or coffee. In the evening we enjoyed excellent food in the restaurant with good waitress service. Breakfast - a good choice with again excellent and personal service. The dining room was delightful in its old fashioned design and high ceiling. In the cooler months a central fire would be lit giving a warm atmosphere. We were delighted with our choice of hotels picked randomly. The location is central to the small town centre. Plenty of car parking too. Should we visit this area again, we would definitely stay in this lovely hotel.
