Popped here for breakfast and was pretty good.
The cafe is quite large with plenty of seating inside and benches outside too.
It’s all on the ground floor with lots of parking available, located within Nene court retail park.

Good value breakfast made with quality ingredients served by friendly staff. What more do you want?
I'd give an extra star if the beans came in a separate pot - but that's me just being fussy!!!
Plenty of space - even at busy times, means you're not waiting for a table.
Definitely worth a visit.

Good place to go for something comforting and straightforward within an interesting restored building at nene retail park .
Great selection of things to eat and drink both hot and cold ordering at counter then brought to table .
Service was good , the food with most things is done to order and was really tasty,filling and decent sized portions .
This place seems to have a following and very popular which is clear too see why along with an active atmosphere makes for a great visit if in the area

An anonymous Google Food review, we " Used" to be regular customers but today will be our last day ever visiting. We went to the counter and ordered our usual meal, the lady on the counter came across very rude, from walking to the table from the counter our feet/shoes were sticky from the wooden floor, as we were waiting for our breakfast to come out, we had a visual look around the restaurant, my daughter noticed that the wall behind me was literally covered in greasy finger prints, I looked at the floor and it was covered In stuck in dirt. My wife looked at the ceiling and the air conditioning unit was covered in dust, didn't look very hygienic. Our food arrived at the table, the old woman almost dropped the meal on my wife looked at the table and said look free beans with no apology, she noticed that we didn't have any drinks and was told just to help ourselves, looking at the meal looked quite appealing until we all ate the mushrooms first which left a pool of mushroom oil fat on the plate which made us all quite queasy by looking at it, the bacon was really over cooked and dry, with a traditional breakfast you normally have toast with it, 5 minutes after the breakfast was served 3 slices of bread came over, uncut and buttered ( cheap bread ) the hashbrowns was the only saviour on the entire plate, going back a year Pumphouse Cafe was known for Eating Challenges for the likes of Beard Meets food etc, I really don't know what's happened in a year it's as though they have given up !!! It's lost it's charm, when you walked in the place was buzzing, today when we walked in we seen dirt everywhere and that was before the food came out, we quickly ate our food and on the way out I walked past this couple and I said to them that my shoes are sticking to the floor to there reply .....
" yes it's gone really down hill "
Today I'm giving a low ball 1/10 the customer service was poor, the food was not nice and gave us all an unpleasant taste in our mouths to the point where we went out for coffee just to get the taste out of our mouths.
This will be our last day going to PumpHouse cafe in Wellingborough sad times an end of an era for a once awesome cafe.

Freindley staff and very helpful, food was tasty and good size for price, plently of choices of drinks, we went there twice while staying nearby, o had the calzone and it was huge, and very tasty.

This is your typical warm hearted local no frills cafe.
The food is hearty, quick and tasty.
Sauces available..
Toilets available..
Plenty of parking outside.
It gets very busy inside so arriving early won't benefit !!

An offer of a pre ordered £15 breakfast is available, if you can eat it all ( it's massive ) within an hour it's free. Challenge !!!
Takeaways also available.

Nice pleasant visit. Ordered the Pumphouse breakfast which with tea or coffee was £8 which is good value. Staff friendly and tables always kept clean and cleared very quickly. The coffee was ok and not bad quality. The service is very good and my breakfast arrived within 10 minutes. I have to say the sausages and bacon are good quality and tasty( probably best in Wellingborough) , the egg was nice and fresh as was the hash brown. Not a lover of mushrooms, but they were nice and a good portion. Overall a quality breakfast at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.
