Visited the restaurant for evening meal, so can not comment on the accommodation. Superb fresh food, massive portions. Staff were excellent. Recommend cow pie. Highly recommend.

Lovely warm and welcoming restaurant. Staff were friendly, food choices great. Food arrived quickly and was delicious , our meat was very tender and tasty( we had cow pie and bbq pork chops).
Fun touches with quiz cards on tables that entertained the two of us before our food arrived and chocolate sweets with the bill, which was very reasonable.
Would most definitely recommend and would love to visit again if we are in the area.

Another great meal served by friendly and helpful staff, accommodating all needs including gluten free and a one year old. Food was served as and when we were ready (baby allowing) which we really appreciated. Definitely part of all visits to Woodstock now.

The food was excellent and it has a lovely atmosphere. Felt there were rather too many staff. We were asked if our food was ok by at least 3 people! I was however very surprised and disappointed to be charged for tap water, especially without being told in advance.

We popped in for lunch without reserving and got seated on the sofa table near the open wood fire. It was a cold, wet and windy day so we were very pleased to find this haven to warm ourselves and fuel up for lunch. The food was excellent with a good choice of vegetarian & vegan meals as well as traditional fare, staff were great, friendly and attentive in a relaxed manner. The location is in the perfect location to walk around Woodstock but the weather was awful on the day we went. The open fire, atmosphere, staff and food were great.

Popped in for a dinner after wandering around Blenheim Palace. very lovely food and atmosphere. The table was near the fireplace and was very cozy. The service was very good. It was nice to just relax after a long day. Thanks to the whole staff. Cheers!

This was our first trip to Woodstock and The Punch Bowl Inn and what a find! We will certainly be returning as couldn’t have stayed anywhere better. Our room, the service we received, the food, staff and attention to detail were all second to none. This family run Inn and amazing team have created the winning formula. It is the best place to stay in Woodstock, which if you haven’t been is well worth a visit as a stones throw to the beautiful Blenheim Palace. We will be back very soon. Good breakfast, noisey rooms due to traffic.|Our group had booked for 3 nights B&B.|2nd night the|bar closed at 9.00 p.m after our group of 12 had orderd and eaten their meals which was an extra from the restaurant. |No explanation ,the lights were turned off and we all had to go to a pub up the road, although we were residents !!!
