We are fairly new to the area, and we found this cute pub near our house and absolutely love it! Food was absolutely delicious and fairly priced. Love the features and decor with the original features of this old building, adding that extra touch to the place. The service was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend for food and drink! I absolutely love this old pub. We used to come here years ago regularly when we were younger. Today is our Christmas Eve visit. It's a perfect oldy traditional pub. Perfect in every way. Big open fire. Old beams. Very friendly landlord. Great wine and lager. We only wanted a lunchtime snack so chose a bowl of fries each and garlic bread. The portions of chips were very generous indeed. I didn't want to leave this lovely old pub

Fantastic Saturday evening in the most beautiful pub. Six of us had dinner and beers and it was just lovely. The liver and bacon I had was the best I have ever tasted and all the others agreed that their food was superb. Reasonable prices and very well kept beer.
The staff were really friendly. We will be going back as soon as we get them chance. I suspect it would be magical at Christmas. Thanks for the best pub evening we have had in years.

Classic pub in the countryside, service/staff were great and very friendly. However, Sunday roast was ruined by chewey meet and flies everywhere. Won't be back in a rush unfortunately.

Beautiful pub, extremely expensive and 12.5% added to the cost of your meal, outrageous as we waited an hour for our food and we were the only people there at the time. Would never recommend eating there only good for a quick libation and only one I hasten to add. Very poor.

Great pint, excellent Beer. So what a shame the Pub is let down by the scruffy and unkempt appearance outside. Last years hanging baskets and weeds growing profusely If the outside is so untidy then what is the kitchen and restaurant like ?
