Call at the Queens Ground when I am with my son and his family when visiting Hillsboro a great pub old world charm! if you like this sort of thing! good selection of bottle and draught beers! look forward to the next time.

Excellent value for money. We paid £85 for the room with three beds which was an amazing price for three people. And dog friendly! Very happy with the room and very comfortable beds. I only took away a star because of gunk around the shower drain, not enough loo paper (less than one roll) and not convinced the floor was mopped but otherwise it was clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely book in here again

On my list of new favourite places!
A really memorable place. Just intended as a convenient stop over on a long drive but ended up as a really great end to a tiring day. Brilliant English traditional pub, right opposite Hillsborough football ground, with spotlessly clean no-frills bedrooms. No fuss, let yourself out in the morning arrangement. We parked only feet away, and were greeted by an amazing landlady, a well stocked,UNDER PRICED bar and a terrific end to the day. This is really not our usual type of hotel, we’re the Marriott /Hilton type ( sadly) but I’ll always stop here if driving north to south. May even stay an extra night to soak up the lovely feeling of how pubs / people used to be.

Attended a friend's wedding reception. Lovely staff, good service. Good selection of drinks and snacks available. Tad chilly, though. Didn't stay in the hotel but facilities looked good.

Stayed here for a week-end - lady at reception / bar very friendly and helped us out with all info needed. Room is very clean and modern - we really enjoyed our time in Sheffield , very convenient for travel by tram from station too.
