We had our destination wedding at The Queens Hotel in Portsmouth and it was absolutely stunning! Planning a wedding from another country felt a little overwhelming at first, but the team made everything so easy and seamless.

I had the pleasure of working with both Lisa and Davina. From the start, Davina was incredible. She was so helpful, and always quick to answer our questions and guide us through the planning process. And on the big day, Lisa, our day-of coordinator, was incredible. She made sure everything ran smoothly, kept us calm, and handled every little detail so we could just enjoy the day.

We got married in the Elizabeth room, the natural light that comes in is just stunning. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, full of historic charm and perfect for both our ceremony and reception. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful everything was and couldn’t stop raving about it. We truly felt so well taken care of every step of the way.

We can’t wait to come back and stay!

Lovely hotel and great location.
Room was very outdated but clean. Bathroom urgently needs updating, bedroom needs painting.
Only one accessible plug socket no where near the bed.
The hotel its self is lovely and staff were pleasant.
Ample parking. Electric car chargers installed but no power.
Would stay again once rooms have been updated.

Wow wow what a beautiful hotel both outside and inside, and rooms and hotel really clean .
We stayed here with our 7 month puppy and friends, cannot express how friendly all staff were and made the puppy very welcome.
I did not get everyone’s name but I think receptionist was Abbie lovely, friendly and very professional, was served tea in the garden by a young lad who was new ( you will be great ) but have to say when booking the stay I spoke with Adam what a lovely, professional and extremely helpful guy Adam alone is 5 stars.
Hotel is great location, we only had breakfast but this was delicious.

I just had an afternoon tea at the Queen's Hotel Portsmouth.

Tilly on reception was superb. She helped me with a personal matter and her service was impeccable.

In the restaurant, my party had to wait 45mins before food was served and I had to ask 3 times for our drinks. It was not progressing well until Karen's service saved the day.

Had it not been for Tilly and Karen this would have been a 2 star review.

The Queen's needs to ensure all its staff are as well attuned to customers as those two amazing individuals.

Limited knowledge of basic cocktails such as a dirty martini, which couldn't be made.
The small dinner menu looked nice, but much of it was not available.
It's great that the hotel is still being kept in business, although a refurbished basement for afternoon teas or a wine bar might get more people in.
Ample parking on site which is great.

Staff are friendly.
Good for baby's as well as dogs- our dog loved the dog treats!
Room very good and relaxing and with a balcony.. the only thing I'd say is the breakfast all was nice I'm not a veggie but I don't eat bacon but the veggie sausage could've been better with more flavour veggie sausage and for me I'd like to have two hash browns and more baked beans

We attended a wedding, it's a beautiful environment, the function rooms were perfect for our group (50). Service was excellent as was the main ml and evening buffet. The only are that let's the hotel down is the overpriced wine. The house is just drinkable, but really not good. They have a good selection of wine, sadly really expensive! I would not drink wine again in the hotel. Lastly, WiFi requires a password, really.

Came in on Saturday 7th, Came in for some afternoon tea and the food was amazing and some staff was exceptional but I noticed a waitress being very unprofessional to her other staff, an older lady. The younger staff seemed very distressed and it made the experience quite unpleasant. I think she should be checked and kinder.
