We had the most incredible stay at The Queen's View for so many reasons. On the way to the B&B, there was an accident in the middle of Linlithgow cutting off all traffic through the town and I had no idea how to get through to the B&B. Without needing to call, Catriona messaged us with directions helping us get around the traffic and saved an extended argument in the car!||On arrival, we were greeted by Catriona and shown to our room (Superior Double Room w/ garden view), which was stunning and absolutely spotless. Everything in the room felt very high quality. We were very pleased to find that the room looked just as good in real life as it does in the photos. The view from the balcony was beautiful, looking out at the palace. Also, the bed had to be the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in!||There was a great choice for breakfast in the morning that is ordered the night before. The Scottish breakfast was excellent!||I’d be happy to recommend the Queen’s View to anyone. The room was fantastic but what really made our stay special was the extra care we received from Catriona, her family, and the staff. During our stay, it was my fiancée’s birthday. At breakfast, there were some lovely flowers waiting on the table with a card, and a further handmade card from Catriona’s daughter. There were a number of other times during our stay that the staff went above and beyond, and it was greatly appreciated.||Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and we can’t wait to return!

The Queens View is a fabulous place, nothing was too much trouble for Catriona. |The breakfast menu was great, lots of choice and everything we had was delicious. |Very comfy beds and pillows, sumptuous furnishings, fluffy towels a great attention to detail has been given.|In a beautiful peaceful setting with views over the rolling countryside and Linlithgow Palace. |Well located for lots of attractions.|We travel Scotland a lot and this is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed, we are already planning our next visit. Absolutely superb luxury B&B in an equally stunning location with attentive and friendly hosts. Catriona and Amanda made us feel as if we were part of the family from the moment we arrived. The location of The Queens View is just perfect, quiet but close to the town of Linlithgow (only 10 mins away) and about 40 mins from the centre of Edinburgh. The guest 'wing' is totally separate to where the family live with a separate entrance too. The whole property is fabulous as are all the rooms I understand. The rooms we had booked were the Kyloe ( slightly larger and at the back of the property with a balcony) overlooking Linlithgow Palace in the distance and Lang Lugs (at the front of the property, a smaller room without balcony but equally lovely). The attention to detail of all the furnishing, fixtures and fittings was top spec. Bottled water is supplied free of charge and we had fruit in your room on arrival as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Bed was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with a superb choice on the menu, served in a room that overlooks the garden with Linlithgow Palace in the distance. We arranged a private 'Outlander' tour for one of our days and were picked up from the property so felt a bit like royalty! The company we used was excellent and we have given Catriona their details. I cannot recommend The Queens View highly enough. It is superb with such genuinely friendly hosts who could not do enough for you. This was the last 4 nights of our 'Highland Adventure' and it could not have ended on anymore of a high than at The Queens View... Thank You.

Our second visit to the Queen’s View confirmed our opinion that this is the best B and||B of the many that we have experienced. The appearance of the building is beautiful and carefully designed with lovely stonework and use of natural materials. Catriona gave us a warm and friendly welcome and was really helpful throughout our stay. Our room (Monarch) was spacious and delightfully furnished with an extremely comfortable bed and seating. We appreciated the plentiful supply of fruit and fresh milk in the fridge. The impressive view of Linlithgow Palace and surrounding countryside enhanced our enjoyment. We particularly appreciated the ease of travel by train to Edinburgh. We look forward to our third visit next year.

We stayed with Catriona and Amanda at Queen's View to attend a friends wedding at The Vu. It was a fantastic experience with every luxury and amenity you could possibly think of. We felt very comfortable and safe our entire stay. The views are absolutely stunning from the Kyloe room and the breakfast room. Breakfast was delicious and our needs were 100% catered to. A beautiful place and we hope to return one day.

The views are spectacular! We wanted to get the feel of a B&B, while in Scotland and we choose this one. Cat and Amanda were so accommodating. You feel as if you’re in a Chalet. Rooms were spacious and well thought of decor. Breakfast was made to order and delicious.

Can't praise this B&B enough. Stunning house & fabulous room. Great decor, very clean & fantastic views. Catriona is a lovely host, extremely friendly and accommodating, going the extra mile to make sure your stay is perfect. Brilliant breakfast too. Will definitely be back if staying in the area.
