An Exceptional Stay with a Few Minor Drawbacks

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the thoughtful service at this hotel. Being able to sit and relax while checking in was a wonderful touch. The reception area was well-stocked with water, tea, and coffee, and the cozy furnishings made it feel very welcoming.

I also appreciated the seamless luggage service—leaving my bags at the entrance and having them delivered to my room was incredibly convenient. Every staff member was warm, friendly, and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable.

Entering the room to the sound of classical music added an elegant touch, and everything about the experience felt well thought out. The hotel’s location was also perfect, which made the stay even better. I would absolutely love to return.

That said, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The bed felt a bit small—we usually prefer a super king-size bed (at least 180cm wide), but the one here was narrower than expected, which was slightly disappointing.

Additionally, valet parking was quite expensive, and street parking was limited. The public parking area was a bit farther from the hotel, which could be inconvenient for guests with a car.

Despite these small issues, my overall experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

What an amazing stay we had. Absolutely loved the room which was so spacious, and beautifully designed. All of the staff were amazing and helpful. A massive shout out to Ollie who made our stay excellent. We also dined in the olive tree restaurant and would highly recommend it! The food was outstanding.

Really enjoyed staying here for 3 nights during a weekend in January. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean with lots of finishing touches so it was very comfortable. The decor throughout the hotel is also very cool. The cocktails in the bar were delicious. It's a short walk to the centre of Bath, which has plenty of things to explore. The staff were all very friendly too. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for one night for my partner's birthday and were surprised with an upgrade! We had an amazing stay, so relaxing. The room was stunning with a beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was really delicious. The hotel location was fantastic just a few minutes walk to the centre and all the tourist sights. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

Great central hotel. Lovely high ceiling room and en-suite. Not a particularly great view ( room 10)from the back of the hotel but very quiet despite its central location. Staff were warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was good.
There were no coffee/tea facilities in the room but a great coffee machine in the lounge, but it meant getting dressed to go fetch it in the morning. There were a few little marks on the otherwise elegant chairs and furniture but nothing that detracted significantly from an otherwise very comfortable stay.

Loved everything about this gorgeous hotel! Fabulously decorated with the most beautiful wallpaper. Amazing service, delicious cocktails, perfect location. Would come back for sure!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a few days in November and we are so happy we did. The hotel itself has so much charm and character. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, seems like they actually care. We arrived after an exhausting trek and relaxed with some tea while the staff took care of our check in and luggage. To our surprise, we were given an upgrade (assuming because low booking in the time of year we went). Our room had classical music playing and a beautiful view of the city. We loved it so much, we almost wanted to just stay in our room and not go explore the city. Wish we had more time to enjoy the bar, outside space, and the Michelin star restaurant in the hotel. Next time! Thank you again Queensberry, definitely will stay here if we are ever again in Bath!

Such a beautiful hotel! We have stayed here a few nights recently, all to do with our wedding. Firstly, we had a small legal ceremony at a registry office and wanted to celebrate that so the two of us booked that night at the Queensberry. We booked a superior room and arrived in the stunning room to a lovely handwritten congratulations note, with some bubbles and chocolates, such a lovely gesture! |We then had our main wedding in a nearby village a couple of weeks later and the hotel was the base of our activity. I stayed with my bridesmaids the night before, we had the two suites and two superior suites and they were all stunning!! The decor throughout the hotel is perfect, but for me the main hitters are the bathrooms, just absolutely gorgeous. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful, breakfast was delicious and I would stay here every weekend if I could! 100% recommend.
