Amazing lunch to celebrate a missed birthday. Very impressed with the beautiful and friendly staff this was lunchtime 30th January. Food was homecooked and well presented and tasty . Service above and beyond. Mostly oldies like us but staff very attentive with everyone. They bought out desert with some candles and decorated the table. Hope to return soon as deserves all the custom it gets. Well done to the staff and chef and manager.

Missed my original Birthday booking and went some weeks later.Imagine my surprise to see our table set up for my Birthday and my dessert served with 2 candles. Such wonderful staff and excellent food. Thank you all for making our visit special as always.

Recently had a Christmas night out here. Very disappointing.the food was very basic, beef, sprouts, cabbage and carrots, one Yorkshire pudding. Rather dry roast potatoes. Gravy. It wasn't really hot, but warm.
The 'free' mince pie was actually inedible...we sent them all back, they responded with oh dear, they were the same yesterday.
Nothing offered instead.
The room wasn't festively decorated.
There was no Christmas music.
For what I paid I could have got a really good carvery with much more variety and better food elsewhere. I won't be going there again in a hurry. And certainly not for any sort of celebration.
Sorry QSM you let yourselves down.

Enjoyed a delicious roast tonight. Staff were lovely and very efficient. The beef was tender and tasty plenty of veggies cauliflower cheese very good! We had a biscoff sundae and a mint aero sundae really enjoyed. Hope to re visit very soon as it was the best roast we have had in Yeovil. Good value for money

It's cheap. But it doesn't mean it must be so low quality. You enter your room through cheap plywood doors, ones you install as a temporary solution on the building sites.

Room was cold as old not maintenated rooten window had broken lock. And as it's a sash window, it was open throu the night. Standard heaters were not enough to keep you warm so you have to use privided by them - I kid you not - industrial blower. It's as loud as hair dryer and you are force to either sleep with it on, or wake up cold and possibly with a flew.

The bed has dip so big on side side I rolled downhill somehow through the night from the ether flatter end of the bed and woke up with backpain.

It was refurbrished by somebody who clearly either didnt care or had no clue how to do it. Mould in corners, cracks, not finished surfaces, absolutly cheapest possible materials and approach to build it.

I mean, it's not hotel room but cheap cheap accomodation for workers. I was tempted by good pub reviews and hoped I found a good room in good price. Boy was I wrong.

Booked & checked in online which was very easy but to check in online you will need your drivers license or passport information so have this to hand.|On arrival I found the staff very friendly and helpful and got shown to the room quickly and efficiently. They had 3 really good well kept real ales and a variety of really good lagers and ciders. Everything was spotlessly clean the food was excellent what more cld you ask with really friendly staff with a warm greeting

Absolutely shocking! Waited 45 minutes with bad customer service and once food came payed extra for a large and only had an extra potato which were cold and hard the stuffing and meat was cold as well. And the kids pasta meal was disgusting as well. Avoid at all costs

BEST meal we've had in a long time. The staff are so lovely and make you feel very welcome, as soon as you walk through. All of our meals were absolutely beautiful, and the price of the specials menu is unbelievably good. We will definitely be back :)!!
