Had some lovely meals here. But will not be going anymore. Thought we were good customers. Sent email rather than leave a bad review, no reply. Went for sunday lunch, looked really good, meat was excellent until I found a strip of j cloth in my dinner. They forgot to put my banana on my dessert. The previous week spent over £500.00 celebrating our wedding, was very good. Staff really lovely

Fabulous stay here. Brilliant hotel, rooms, food, and location. Especially good if you're a rail enthusiast and into freight. You get what you pay for, and the trains aren't too loud from the rooms. Comfortably got to sleep even though they run throughout the night.

Great service and good venue but disappointing food particularly the bread. I was expecting granary bread on my halloumi and roasted veg sandwich. What I got was thin sliced brown bread that went soggy, not pleasant. The halloumi was lovely, the roasted vegetables negligible. Thank heaven also ordered a bowl of chips which were good otherwise I would have been hungry!

Really nice pub/restaurant with friendly staff. We had a meal and thoroughly enjoyed the food (the pulled pork burger was fabulous). This was our first visit and certainly will not be the last.

First time I’ve visited the Railway Inn and it certainly won’t be the last. Great value for money for high quality food! Family friendly with lots of other young children in the pub and a great outdoor area with ample parking! Think this might be our new favourite local!

Came to the Wine Pairing Evening on Tuesday. Outstanding fine dining food. Wonderful evening from start to finish in a relaxed but intimate setting at the rear of the pub. We felt like exclusive members of a secret club! We can't wait for the next one! Excellent night, thanks to all who organised the event ❤️ x

Started ok but then person changed serving us, meal certainly looked the part but wasn't hot, the roast potatoes warm, no crisp or steam when cutting them. Was offered the dessert menu but they never came back to take the order. Disappointed seems we picked this for our anniversary..all went abit flat. Still worth a visit if you haven't been before ?

Came here yesterday for my Mother's wake.
Have to say that the service & food was absolutely superb. Couldn't fault it !
Grandkids enjoyed the golf also.
I would certainly recommend yourselves to anyone.
