A nice quaint small restaurant located in Christchurch, New Milton.
Staff were very friendly and polite.
Reasonable prices, no more than I expected.
Portions are very good and filling. Food is delicious.
My wife and I ordered a Mix Curry made up of Lamb, Chicken and Prawns and a Mix Veg with two Chapattis, yum yum 😋.
All washed down with a Cobra beer and a Pineapple juice.
I would have taken pictures of the food but I..err..ate it before I could 😁.

I visited here with my family whilst on holiday. What can I say. Stunning beautiful food, fresh, hot & generous portions. The staff were so friendly and accomadating. Lovely people. One of the best curry's I've ever had - the naans were unreal! 100% recommend! Thank you The Raj 😊

We had a fantastic evening at The Raj. Great food, absolutely stuffed. Plenty to bring home for tomorrow too. Staff were really friendly.
Really like the interior with the little booths. Feels like being in a posh train!

Very dated put in a booth where table not made up yet lots of empty tables ..sat right next to kitchen door when there were other tables available..
Food not great did not look or taste like the curry I ordered and have been having for years ..very disappointed. Staff were friendly.. looks like it needs a good refurbishment

Just loved this place. Went there last year in November. Can’t believe I didn’t post before. It was so so spot on. Went back to our hotel Pebble Beach full up. Too full to be honest. But wonderful.

Food was so good that we've switched restaurants to the Raj, the service was amazing really nice staff. The atmosphere was very nice in the little booths with the curtains. Definitely coming back 👍
