This was our second Friday evening meal with friends within a month. All four of us were extremely happy with our meals on both occasions. The portions are very generous. Each plate of food was perfectly cooked and presented well. I had the mushroom bourguignon which was truly an exceptional plate of food. Excellent value for money. In January the half price mains offer starts again. Do not miss out.

I was pleasantly surprised. Really good standard of room and the service staff were very helpful and friendly.
The only thing I would suggest is the continental breakfast which is a nice touch and should have a few options for customers who might be diabetic.
Thanks, guys and girls

Didn't stay, just visited for a drink and something to eat after work with colleagues. The sandwiches we ordered came with their own allotment, then we had the cheeky chips, which were thick and crunchy and covered in cheese, and non-greasy onion rings big enough to throw over a small family hatchback.
Excellent food at excellent value.

Been here plenty of times over the years and stayed here a few time, never had any complaints.
Went here for dinner yesterday to place an order and find out they don't take cash, this is disgusting, we are visiting family in corby as we live overseas and only have cash.
Expecting people to pay the card fees and not accepting cash really blew my mind, it's totally unacceptable.
Can't a homeless person without a bank card pop in for a pint?
I'll definitely not be returning here after 15 years on visiting.

Some of the rooms look like a jail cell, the carpet in the hallway had a pungent smell of urine and the heating in the rooms didnt work. Felt like i was in prison. All the equipment provided was either dirty or faulty, the Kettle had limescale on the lip of the Kettle and the cups were dirty. Dont even make this hotel your last option

On Saturday 13th July 24, we threw a surprise birthday party for our son at The Raven, Corby. We were able to hire the raised part of the bar that overlooks the garden, which meant we had privacy, exclusively for our party only. We ordered a buffet for the 20 guests. We were able to decorate the area and make it our own. The staff were brilliant and very accommodating, they couldn't do enough for us. Even more importantly, due to an oversight on our part, we forgot to mention more than a few food allergies/intolerance that had recently been diagnosed with the Birthday boy. At the very last minute (the afternoon of the party) we rushed to the Raven and notified them of our dilemma. We didn't hold out much hope but we understood if this issue couldn't be addressed so late in the day. The staff told us they would do their best. That night the outcome was a lovely hot and cold buffet which we all enjoyed. A big shout out to Alistair (the chef) who went above and beyond to accommodate our sons intolerance. He went out of his way to make sure our sons food was separated from the rest, the food was labelled and also made him a lovely desert . This was very much appreciated and we were so relieved that the Birthday boy's night wasn't spoilt. Thank you so much to Alistair and all the staff, we had a great night. We thoroughly recommend the food and service.

Room was really nice. Hotel not far from the town centre. Friendly staff. No English breakfast though. That was the only thing missing.
