Incredible coffee, cakes, salads and rolls all at an amazing price. We can all come here as a family, it’s located opposite a lovely play park with free onsite parking, we can all get great food, coffee, ice creams, cold drinks, milkshakes without breaking the bank and there’s a wonderful little book corner upstairs. The owner is really lovely and friendly and all the staff are kind and welcoming! We now come here weekly as a treat. They also do great little events for the kids during half term too which are so affordable!

Great little coffee shop/cafe. Vegan options available. Enjoyed vegan breakfast. Gabi and Jess are brilliant. Very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Very cosy place with seasonal activities and themes. Definitely a regular haunt for me.

I have become a regular customer to The Rec and I absolutely love it there! The food, whether fresh sandwiches or yummy cakes are just incredible every time. The coffee is fantastic too - The Rec is always now my go to place for this. My son and I loved our breakfast rolls which they’ve just started doing - an added bonus! We always receive such a warm and friendly welcome by Jess and Gaby too.

amazing small coffee shop with lovely cakes and amazing drinks. the staff are kind, the seating and design are beautiful and the painting are extremely good. all of there drinks and food are amazing quality with cheap prices. the seasonal drinks are the best but be quick to get them because they only last during the season.

Took the kids for a milkshake and brownie after swimming and was told “it was the best day best milkshakes they’d ever had!” Lovely little place that we had to ourselves and will definitely be back for coffee next time. Lovely lady also gave the kids a little extra chocolate heart which they were over the moon about. Thanks so much.
