Great experience with a great price.
Good room- basic but clean and has desk and storage for clothes as well as spacious bathroom with shower- modern.
No noise from road despite being next to a12 which was a pleasant surprise.
Easy to check in and out with helpful person on reception.
A few cobwebs in the room but nothing major, bedding and bathroom were clean. Bed was quite hard but we still slept well.
Amazing internet, really fast and easy to connect to.
Only negative is that the shower power kept going low with bursts of power, however, it was hot which was good.
Overall great for the price.

Stayed for one night. You get what you pay for. Reception staff are lovely and both of the chaps were extremely courteous. The room was big enough, the bathroom was clean. But having a shower took a long time due to low pressure, no hairdryer and no kettle in the room, no iron.

It was okay for the price. Would just pay £30 more and stay at Travelodge next time.

Run down and being run down
Toilet did not flush. Shower did not drain.
Frosted glass window had no curtain, so awake at 6.00.
Steel gates were locked shut at 22.00.
Bed was clean and comfy Good quality TV. Those were the only redeeming feature
Cheap at £52 but dire.

When arriving on the Friday it was very hot the room was very stuffy. When trying to open the windows on ground floor we realised it was screwed shut and couldn't open it. The room smelt of bleach. The toiled needed to be flushed a good few times due to pressure. The decor in the room was dated and warn.
The lighting in the room was awful. When I opened the curtain slightly while's getting changed a worker was looking through the window which made us feel extremely uncomfortable that we ended up staying else where on the Friday. The Saturday morning we arrive back at the hotel to realise our room was infested by ants. When talking to the staff the customer service was shocking.
Stayed in the past and since new ownership has gone drastically down hill

After seeing the reviews I was hesitant however the staff had told me that it is now under new management. This was well beyond my expectations and the service was fantastic. Rooms are newly refurbished and had 0 issues during my 1 week stay. I would highly recommend to both families and business trips! Especially for the price, this will be my go to work trip hotel. Please don’t be alarmed by the previous negative reviews as i have been told it is run by new management and staying for 1 week I can confirm this is the case! Thank you for always maintaining cleanliness and always asking if I need anything.

Lovely, helpful man on reception; did us a good deal when we were in need. Much cheaper than Travelodge/Premier Inn. Clean and nicely presented; had all the basic things we needed including free WiFi which was very appreciated. Had a good night's sleep.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - rooms were dirty, unsafe, unhygienic and hotel took a total lack of awareness or accountability

Multiple rooms were cold, had an unpleasant odour, visible mould. The bathroom and shower were filthy, with faeces stains in the toilet, which is a clear health hazard.

Another person's experience:
His first room was unclean, cold, and had a non-functioning shower. Instead of being provided with a proper replacement, the receptionist told him to use a different room’s shower and then return to his original room, which is completely unsanitary and not a reasonable solution. His final room was dirty, with ash on the floor, paint splatters on the walls, and a hole in the wall that had been covered with tape.

Another person's experience:
Had to request a new room due to an active bug infestation, including flies, roaches, and mites—an issue that is completely unacceptable in any hospitality setting.

Multiple members of our crew reported that their rooms were cold, unclean, and had showers that either did not work at all or only functioned intermittently. Many were unable to shower due to the lack of hot water or properly working facilities.

Several crew members could not sleep due to excessive noise from other guests in the corridors and surrounding rooms, which was not addressed by hotel staff.

DO NOT STAY!
