Bed wasn't made or changed.
Paid £80 for the sauna and plunge pool. Pool was a small rubber tub, barely able to fit one person. Only a few inches of dirty water in it.
Owners were disagreeing that the bed wasn't changed or made. I didn't bother to make a fuss.
Hot tubs bubbles were greasy and disgusting.
£290 for one night!!!
Definitely never again
Glad l have the pictures and videos of the Hot tub etc to prove it 😉

You let us into the sauna early while you changed the bed. No one used the facility before us

You should accept customer service and the general cleanliness of your facility.
The only issue we had when you arrived was the fact that I wanted to leave and my partner tried to make the most of it.

Came in 2024 and it was an incredible stay so booked it again and it was another amazing stay, facilities are top tier and the hot tub is really good aswell, will definitely be back for a 3rd time in the future, would highly recommend. Only downside was the room I stayed in this time didn’t have a curtain around the hot tub so people walking the path along the river bann were looking up into our room and hot tub and it didn’t feel too private, but apart from that it was amazing

Amazing !! Communication was excellent regarding how to access. It was spotless and the decor was beautiful with every single detail really well thought out, even the lovely wee 'writing' desk with the lid that lifted up to reveal the hairdryer and a mirror. The hottub and seating area was fantastic, albeit with storm Bert , we didn't sit out lol but we certainly enjoyed the hottub. Honestly a little gem of a place, so private and secluded, will definitely book again in the summer so we can enjoy the wider surroundings more, thankyou 💕

Had a fantastic stay at The River Bann Retreat this weekend, my new Fiancé popped the question right on the rivers edge before we enjoyed an evening relaxing in the hottub under the stars and the supermoon. We will definitely be returning and have recommended this as the perfect romantic get away to escape city life.

Very disappointing. Paid £225 for a nights stay and hot tub did not work properly, no jets! This was my partners birthday and we would love to have made use of the hot tub in the evening and morning, unfortunately not the case. The response from the manager of the property was machines break basically. She has no clue of customer service, in my experience if your providing a service and the main attraction of that service did not work I would be apologising profusely and not expect the customer to be penalised! Booking.com agree and have compensated me with a small amount but the property refuse to do so! Sorry but your room is only worth £100 without a hot tub at best!! I think a course is needed for management in customer service. Will not stay again! And views of river are wick, built box hedging too high just an fyi!

We arrived but could not Get in. No email sent with gate codes on it. My niece contacted then through face book!!! Received the email eventually. They advertised two beds which we presumed meant two bedrooms. But no two beds is a bed in the main living area along with a pull out bed. There is just one bedroom. Ensuite is a bathroom off the living room. The kitchenette has no cooker only an airfryer for one person despite this being a lodge for 5 people. A kettle and toaster are provided. The Jacuzzi was warm but the water was not very clean when we arrived. By the second day the smell was so awful we could not use it. Obviously no cleaning agents had been put into the water. The log burning stove had a few logs in it which were damp and another few were left in a bucket. We paid £20 for this which was supposedly two bags of logs!!! All in all a Tescos bag!!!! £20 worth. Total rip off. Glad to leave the place. The customer service was dreadful and condecending. Will not be back.
