WOW! We had our wedding reception here and it was the best night ever!! Sam, who helped organise everything and helped us out all evening, was amazing! The garden is huge, perfect for everyone to sit outside, plus the main room where we had a stage area for live music, and a back room for snacks and chilling. They were so accomodating and even kept all our gifts/decorations until the next day, so we didn't have to carry everything home. The whole night was magic - could not recommend it more, thanks so SO much x

I had lunch at The River House in Frome and really enjoyed it.
The place has a very nice vibe and the seating is cosy and relaxed.
The staff were friendly and helped us choose from the menu.
I tried the Turkish eggs which were amazing, and the coffee had a great flavour too.
A lovely spot for a relaxed meal.
Highly recommended!

Came here for my birthday breakfast on 15th May, food was delicious and staff were lovely! I didn’t catch his name (I’m sorry) but the man who was on the tills was particularly lovely and gave me a cake for my birthday 🎂

Wonderful food in a really vibrant environment. Cafe was nice and busy, clearly very popular with locals, and staff were lovely and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area !

Lovely cakes Inc vegan and gf. Breakfasts are quality and decent size. We had the house breakfast, avo toast and sweetcorn fritters. All delicious. Very very fast service. Staff are very friendly. Definitely worth the price. There is a shop with nice gifts and a gallery. Highly recommend.

Visited 17/05/2024 - Good food, waiter could have been a little more attentive as was holding a child but had to get the high chair myself (while still holding my child). Generally good atmosphere and friendly people.

We went here a few weeks ago and were very impressed. The River House serves a good breakfast; very well presented wholesome food. I liked how they'd bolster well known breakfast items with a little something extra like some beetroot hummus. They serve good coffee here too.

I think if I was a local I would be here quite often. It was very busy though it was a Sunday morning. Still, they coped very well and we did not have to wait very long. I would definitely return.
