All I can say is just Wow!! This is such a quirky place to stay. We stayed with my granddaughter and always book a premier inn but saw this and decided to give it a try. We arrived early evening and checked in with Morgan, she was so helpful in getting us a table for dinner even though we hadn’t thought of booking ahead. |Our family room was in the annexe, room was clean and comfortable. Don’t be put off by reviews of the rooms being tired or updating, this just adds to the history of the place, who doesn’t love a creaky floor! |The restaurant was busy but they gave us a lovely table. The service by Joe and Zack was super fast and attentive. The food was delicious we could not fault any of it. They were really helpful when asked if we could have take away boxes for pudding as our grandaughter was tired, they asked but no boxes available but were more than happy for us to take our plates to the room. |The only little thing I would suggest is that when a family room is booked please ensure there are enough mugs/glasses for the occupants, we had to ask for these so we could all have a cup of tea. |We will 100% return so we can see more of the hotel in daylight. |Well done to all the staff who made us feel so welcome x

Just stayed the night with two young children. This is a really lovely place to stay, lovely buildings in a lovely location. The room we stayed in was spacious and had good beds. The kids slept well 👍

Dinner was tasty and good value. The staff were all great, especially the young lady that helped me with my two children during breakfast, while my wife enjoyed a good deal more than 5 minutes peace! (Thank you!)

We will definitely be returning.

Great location, lovely building steeped in History, lovely friendly staff very accommodating … well managed, great breakfast. |Few maintenance issues, cold shower temperature was barely warm and kept fluctuating to really cold! I stayed in room 8, room was lovely and suitable for me, peeling wallpaper needs addressing, but overall my stay was lovely, walked round the grounds early morning, fantastic views, would stay again,

5* is nowhere near enough stars for this delightful hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is steeped in history and the architecture is beautiful. Some hotels say they are dog friendly, Rothley Court is the most dog friendly hotel we have ever stayed at as our dog, Arthur will testify! |The rooms are warm and cosy and very clean as are the lounge, the bar and the restaurant. |Our breakfasts and dinners were superb, excellent quality and piping hot , I highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding!|The stand out feature though is the staff, all of whom are so friendly,helpful, attentive to detail and very professional. Special mention to Brooke who is a delightful girl, not forgetting Leah. Claire and the lovely lady chef who fell in love with Arthur!|We frequently use Greene King hotels but Rothley Court is by far the best one we have ever stayed at.|Many thanks to you all, we look forward to returning

Had our wedding here in November 2024, what an absolutely amazing day from start to finish! Kate was wonderful, helping us plan our day and the packages they offer are amazing! All staff were brilliant, they made all our guests feel welcome and ensured the whole day ran smoothly. The food for the buffet was great and I'm still getting comments from our guests about how good the disco was. Thanks to Rothley Court and the wonderful staff, we all had such a fantastic day. Cannot recommend enough! We also booked for Christmas dinner on Christmas day, that was brilliant too. The food was amazing, we were greeted by Claire who made us feel very welcome and provided excellent service. Thank you Rothley Court.

What a lovely treat! Steeped in history and amazing value for money. Although sometimes members of staff enjoy a game of 'hide and seek', presumably this is part of what makes it good value and feels friendly, eccentric, and warm. You find staff either in the bar or the restaurant, and they're always super friendly and helpful. Do check out the chapel built in 1231 by the Knights of Templar. Breakfast was fab, dinner was standard, reliable, pub fare.

Very welcoming and friendly staff all of the hotel dates to the 1600 so trying to keep dated rooms a bit on the small side but very clean and tidy breakfast and dinner was great with plenty of choice good chef. Only real issue was no 02 phone signal and hotel internet which drops in and out to often needs updating ASAP would stay again would definitely stay again with better internet. A big thumbs up to all staff

The service was top-notch, the staff were friendly and attentive and every detail was well thought out. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the quality exceeded expectations.
