Absolutely fantastic experience. Roundtable provided the food and service for our 10th wedding anniversary, and everything was exceptional. Not only was the food amazing and enjoyed by everyone, the serving team went above and beyond in supporting with set up and helping us ensure that our vision for the event was brought to life. Would absolutely recommend their services without any hesitation.

We were quite disappointed with the service we received especially after waiting patiently for months before getting an initial consultation or response from this vendor.

Main points are:
- The vendor served something other than what we ordered during the canapés. We ordered mini meat pies and instead they served sausage rolls! This was particularly an issue as we do not eat pork and stated this during our consultation. We also had guests who absolutely could not eat pork due to religious/ health reasons and were quite distressed when some of them realised they had either touched or eaten the food served.
When we raised this with the vendor, their first response was that we should have noted this on the dietary restrictions we sent even if we didn’t order anything with pork in it!! This was quite strange. They also tried to imply that we changed the order at the last minute leading to the confusion but we didn’t actually change the food order at all!
They offered no compensation just excuses, finally stating that it was “an oversight”…

- The vendor suggested family table service which we opted for but then Our guests didn’t get all the food options that we paid for at each table, neither did we. Given they had only 7 tables to serve, it was quite poor that they didn’t get this right. This left some people not having enough on their plate or not having some of the food displayed on the menu which they would have preferred due to their dietary requirements.

- The waiters did not have a clue about what was on the menu or what was in the food. We explicitly provided the vendor with allergy information but food containing nuts were carried around during canapés without clear labels and without advising guests.

- Cost for a floor manager was included in the quote but It was not evident who the floor manager was to organise the serving

- The vendor did not accept feedback well, instead they stated that they hadn’t charged or for a broken glass? Which in fact was broken by one of their waiters.

- We specifically discussed and agreed well ahead of the event date that the vendor would pack up food for us to take home as we ‘the couple’ wouldn’t have the opportunity to eat during the day’s activities. However on the event night, the vendor stated that they hadn’t actually packed our food away at the start of the day as previously agreed and couldn’t give us the food we paid for because they had to “throw the rest away”. This was highly frustrating as we hadn’t had dinner or made alternative arrangements because we were reliant on the agreement we had with the vendor.

In conclusion, we really wished we went with another supplier that would have potentially delivered much better service.

Roundtable delivered a fantastic service for our wedding. We were given support and advice in selecting the menu and were provided with a lovely experience at the taster session to confirm our choices. On the wedding day, the food was amazing and a special shout out to the staff who helped things run smoothly on our special day - lots of positive feedback from guests and a happy couple. From start to finish our experience with Roundtable and the three sisters that run it, Erica, Edwina & Emma, has been fantastic. We went for a food tasting and were blown away by the quality of the food and the care put in by the trio. We hired them for our wedding on 20th May for canapes and a feasting style dinner. They took care of everything bringing along their own staff and the food was just as good as we remembered. All the guests were blown away by how delicious it was and we received many comments letting us know. Thank you again for adding so much to our special day
