We had a fantastic stay at the Royal Crescent during our time in Bath! Truly beautiful hotel, very well appointed rooms, kind and attentive staff was helpful throughout our stay, and delicious breakfast and afternoon teas enjoyed in their restaurant. Great location and surprisingly quiet hotel. Loved meeting Alfie and other neighborhood cats that call the grounds home! Spa was lovely but we did have several issues with our bookings that impacted the rest of our plans and wish I'd had more time to take advantage of the facilities. Still had a great massage, swim and steam! Highly recommend!

If you can afford it, this hotel will pamper your every need and is in a perfect location for exploring Bath. From concierge to reception, the truly 5-star service is more attentive than you will receive at other hotels. The room was huge and beautifully appointed. They even put my name on the door! Nothing was lacking. Montagu's Mews: both the restaurant and bar were outstanding and gorgeous. The bartenders are artists--not only do they craft cocktails for seasonal menus, they can make just about anything you request perfectly. Room service was the fastest I've ever experienced--hard to believe it is 24/7. The garden that links the main building to the restaurant and spa is delightful. In short, staying here is worth the splurge. We all need to feel like kings and queens sometimes, am I right/

Amazing place. Very cozy and clean. The breakfast is fantastic and the concierge had the best recommendations. They’re also very kid friendly (high chairs, cribs or children beds and toys, small towels, etc.). The location is perfect distance from downtown, we loved our time there.

Having been many times over the years, this hotel did seem to hit a low point due to staffing issues after Brexit and the covid pandemic. I am pleased to say that it has improved greatly following our most recent visit in September 2024. ||Very pleased with the dog-friendly attitude, and the ‘doggy welcome pack’ was greatly appreciated by our canine companion. ||The concierges are excellent - very knowledgeable, friendly and very willing to help.||What always feels a bit of a ‘let down’ for me is the dining experience. Basic errors such as bringing mains at the same time as starters at breakfast. Mixing up choices selected. No-one there to welcome you in to the dining room. Lack of checking if you require anything further. Failure to bring items on first request. All fundamental elements for a 5 star hotel. I do hope they continue to work on this, as compared to other 5 star hotels, it does fall short. ||Having said that, it was a great improvement on 18 months or so ago, and now with many new members of staff with the right attitude, I am sure it will continue to improve accordingly. ||We would definitely visit again, it is the ideal location for a base from which to enjoy all that Bath has to offer.

Always a treat spending time here. It is by far Bath's (and the region's) Grande Dame and fully deserves its 2 Michelin Keys. The suites are beautiful, as are the grounds in general (and what a location!) All staff are excellent, from the porters to the very knowledgeable barmen and waiters. There is a small but properly equipped gym and spa, with a lovely pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna to help wile away the day. Looking forward to our next stay

Bath England is known for it's architecture and there is no finer example than the Royal Crescent Hotel tucked away in the middle of the Royal Crescent. But the architecture is just the beginning of what was a special stay for us. Our room was surprisingly large and well appointed. The garden magnificent. The breakfast buffet, afternoon tea and dinners were all first rate. The staff was professional, courteous and openly friendly especially the concierge staff led by Mark and supported by Martin who was a great help in arranging things prior to our arrival. If you want the best Bath experience possible, a stay at the Royal Crescent will be a great first step in realizing that goal.

So glad I chose this hotel. I am very picky and this hotel did not disappoint in any way. The grounds are gorgeous, food very good and afternoon tea was a real treat. Room with view of the front lawn was so wonderful. Breakfast served until 10:30 which was good for us as we like to sleep in a bit.||Loved loved loved

The staff at this hotel are nothing short of amazing! Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. ||The bar staff were very attentive and the cocktails were excellent.||The only slight grumble was the bar and restaurant menu, we found it too diverse and lacked just a few basics. The bar menu for instance didn't even offer any sandwiches which we found slightly strange. Consequently we were forced to dine elsewhere during our 3 night stay.
