Needed a room for 1 night while visiting our daughter at Uni. The reviews were excellent so went with it. Very glad we did. It really is in the centre, the room was spacious, very clean, comfy bed and great shower. The staff were very welcoming and there’s a great bar and courtyard outside. Great place.

Amazing stay here. The staff are lovely and couldn't do enough for us! The beds are comfy, and the breakfast basket is a nice, thoughtful touch.
The pub/bar attached is nicely decorated and has an array of drinks available. Good, central location too, in the centre of Lancaster and only a 10 minute walk from the station. Thank you for having us!

Was so pleasantly surprised by this place. Rooms were spacious, EXTREMELY CLEAN, and well set up. 10 min walk from train station and tons of food and shopping nearby.

Would definitely stay here again.
Only thing I might suggest is asking for extra towels ahead of time.

My twin brother and I were pub hopping around this part of the city when we decided to drop by The Royal Hotel & Bar and what a great find. ||Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, interior is superb, dark wood features abound throughout this bar,great decor and furnishings, an eye catching serving bar dominates the main room and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar, its just a really good bar to unwind in. ||We ordered beers ,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar while we sipped our beers. ||Beer served here was spot on, a crisp, golden lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this bar. ||We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting for a first time visit to here we had a great time. ||The Royal Hotel & Bar is easy to locate along Thurnham Street. ||Opening hours are;||Monday to Sunday, open from 11am. ||Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

What a lovely find in the centre of Lancaster. We received a very warm and efficient welcome with lots of helpful information. The room was absolutely delightful and came with extra complimentary breakfast snacks.|We prefer a vibrant spot and enjoyed the atmosphere of the beer garden, below' and also drinks in the bar. |Would happily return. ||

This is a quaint and cosy place to stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of our room. Was also pleased with noise from the bar and garden not traveling up to the rooms.

They offer a premade breakfast tray.

Stayed here Friday night with my daughter for a uni day, very well looked after from the moment we arrived. Lovely hotel in a fantastic location just two minutes walk from the main shopping and restaurant area. Lovely room with a nice outlook room 15 and my daughter stayed in a different room also nice. The bathroom was spotless and so was the bedroom, there was tea and coffee kettle etc in room and lots of storage space. TV easy to work, clean bedding and enough pillows. The staff really go out of their way to help you and make your stay relaxing and enjoyable, the bar had a lovely atmosphere and we weren’t disturbed by any noise whatsoever. This hotel really ticks all the boxes and is good value for money best to book direct, would definitely stay here again.
