My husband and I enjoyed our stay with The Vic and Bull. We stayed in an ensuite room and it was perfect. It’s an historic building so there are creaks and wear and tear. All part of the charm. Our room was big, very clean and stocked well with towels. There was a coffee and tea station and toiletries if you need them( shower gel and shampoo). Our room was made up every day.
The staff were warm and friendly. And the bar was great to sit in and enjoy a drink or three. The hotel is within walking distance to the train station. Five minutes to shops including Sainsburys. There are markets right out front every Thursday and Saturday. Definitely recommend and would stay again ?

We booked the tea room for afternoon tea for my baby shower and it was perfect. The room itself is lovely, lots of character, set up was great and the ideal size. The afternoon tea was amazing and great value for money with lots of choice of food. The scones were very popular amongst the party and were homemade and warm! Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our celebrations, it was a perfect afternoon!

A great place to stay, close to the train station and a reasonable price. My single room was very pleasant and clean with a big bathroom. The best aspect of my stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff - they were lovely. Excellent breakfasts, nice light lunches and very good evening meals. I was visiting family and will certainly stay here again.

Loved this place. Yes the room I had looked a little tired but the bed was wonderfully comfortable and oh so quiet. The bar area was spectacular and breakfast in the morning was tasty and filling. The staff were very good at their jobs and nothing was too much trouble. I, given the opportunity, would certainly consider coming back for another visit. For those arriving by car make sure to find the postcode for the car park first.

We have stayed here about 3 times now , it’s a very interesting place with lots of history, the food in the evening & at breakfast was all lovely, the staff are extremely friendly & helpful especially Kay our Friday night waitress, the owners/landlord very friendly & helpful nothing was too much trouble. It’s about 5 mins walk from Dartford station and central for Town. Don’t expect modern finishing as it’s an old historic building with wobbly floors and crooked walls which add to the character, it’s all very clean & the beds very comfortable but it’s not modern, we loved it! We had deluxe family room.|Please also be aware there are A LOT of stairs if staying so not suitable if you can’t manage , that said our 85 year old Mum did them with a little assistance ? but I would say it’s not good if you can’t do stairs.| All in all a fabulous place to stay if you love traditional , clean , friendly atmosphere & great food at decent prices ? definitely recommend a visit ?

Choose to watch the fa cup final with two friends. We had a fantastic time! The food was very tasty, the staff went out of their way to be helpful! Also a really good group of clientele! Very friendly! The place has real character and charisma! Funny the last time I was in was 1978 and a coach was there!! Will be coming back as lot of things to go through on the menu!! First class!?mark

Staying here as it has easy access to Brands Hatch. What a ovely little pub and hotel. Room was clean, and the beds were really comfy. Food was very good and staff were lovely. The bar area is really cool with some quirky period features, good ale and a pool table to play on. Will stay again. Thank you.

I drove to The Rotal Victoria and Bull Hotel in Dartford from my home that is near Rochester this evening to have a meal.

I ordered steak and ale pie with mash and veg. When the meal arrived, it looked great. Unfortunately, when I cut into the pie, it was frozen! I was truly shocked. I have never been served a pie that is frozen in the middle!

So, if you should decide to have a meal there, do ask them to defrost the pie first before serving it to you!
