Have enjoyed two recent gel manicures at The Sanctuary and both appointments were a really lovely experience. Was greeted by the receptionist who checked me in and was shown a vast array of colours from which to choose.
A cafetière coffee was brought to the treatment room for me to enjoy during my treatment. Felt thoroughly looked after and my nails lasted perfectly.

My visit to your establishment before my holiday 2 weeks ago left me deeply disappointed. The experience did not meet my expectations.
I had the 4 for £85 offer. My son and his wife had bought me a voucher, so I decided to take advantage of this offer.
I was 10 minutes early for the appointment but went in 15 minutes after my appointment time. I was told there was a mix-up at the desk, and when I got into it, I was rushed from start to finish.
First, I was asked what nail varnish I would like ( it wasn't gel when I thought it would be)
The first was the waxing of the legs, which was not too bad, but when I got home, a whole strip of the leg wax had been missed. Then I was told that I could only have a bikini line wax and not the full wax I would typically have; it was very rushed, and paid no attention to detail. Nobody had told me it was a strip on either side of the knicker line.
Then I went on to a mini pedicure. There was no soaking of my feet and no filing of hard skin, just cutting of the toenails and putting on ordinary nail varnish! The therapist moaned that I had gel varnish still on my toes, so I felt scolded for not telling them when I booked that I had gel on my toenails. She said it needs a longer appointment booked, absolutely unbeknown to me! so that was more rushing, I then had the mini fascial, which really wasn't worth the hassle; few dabs on the face with creams, but not relaxing at all, I had also booked a head and shoulder massage, but I'm not sure that happened at all unless it happened in the 15 min facial!!
so overall, I was very disappointed with the therapist; professionalism wasn't her strongest point

I was booked in for a luxury manicure. Filing rushed and uneven. No cleaning under nails no scrub or washing of hands. Rushed application of cream which may hve been termed a massage but it was so light it was irrelevant Varnish was so thin it only lasted two days before starting g to lift. Again this was a treat and felt it was a waste of my time and my husbands money .

Had a wonderful pedicure from Megan today. She was skilled, caring and professional. My feet look and feel 10 years younger! Lovely calm friendly place. I will definitely be going there again. Highly recommend.

The best gel manicure I’ve ever had! They performed a magic repair on a broken nail which meant I had a perfect set of nails for a good 3 weeks plus! Gorgeous location and lovely staff.

Fantastic staff ,very professional and happy girls ..cant do enough for you ... We mainly dealt with chole and tara ..but everyone there is brilliant 😁
