The hosts made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived, they are a lovely couple. Our room was spotless and decorated to a very high standard, the bed was comfy and we slept well. The breakfast was very good. We enjoyed a full English and there was plenty of choice to suit everyone,cereal,toast etc. The breakfast set us up for a lovely day exploring. We will definitely go back

A fabulous stay for us during the blues festival. Close to the sea and well positioned for all the venues. |John and Martine were excellent hosts providing a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere and they were both so positive in their outlook that breakfast provided a real boost at the start of every day. What's more the breakfast was freshly cooked and superb every morning.|The twin room was spacious and very clean and bright. | Thank you Both.

My first trip to Dorset and will definitely return - beautiful coastline with lots to do and the Sandhaven is a fantastic base to do it all from. Rooms are beautifully clean and cosy. The whole place feels welcoming and the breakfasts were perfect - great coffee was much appreciated! John and Martine are the perfect hosts who are friendly and approachable but not at all intrusive - lovely people. Lovely place!

Super cosy, super cute. Super host|Breakfast menu in room to chose for next day, all requests catered for, delivered with personal service. Room was super cosy and clean. Parking available at the property. Definitely woukd return, dining room feels like your own at home, shared living room as well available. 5 minutes from the beach and all the tourists attractions |Not wheelchair friendly.

Friendly hosts, ideal location, super breakfast, what's not to like? Stayed for 3 nights in Room 1, quiet at the rear of the building, with an en suite bathroom (shower over bath). You order breakfast night before, so no delays in service in the morning. Some parking at the front, and best to arrive early to be sure of a space. Excellent value - would be very happy to return.

It's a nice b&b and Martine & John are nice people. They hosted very well. The room was comfortable and we had a free upgrade given to us.
Only one small criticism and that was, it was chilly in the breakfast room.
We had been there before, 2 years ago and liked John & Martine's warmth.
Thanks to them both and thanks for the free upgrade, which was much appreciated.

We have just had 4 nights at The Sandhaven ,our stay was not disappointing, room was lovely, very clean ,we had a partial Sea View .Car Park Spaces . John and Martine are lovely host and very friendly . We would definitely return to Swanage and stay their again .

A beautiful B&B located a short walk from the beach and town of Swanage. The rooms are bright and airy with everything you would want included for your stay. The hosts, Martine and John, are so friendly and welcoming and help make your stay as comfortable as they can. A great choice for breakfast with more flexibility than I've seen at other places. They really can't do enough to help you enjoy your stay. The only reason I wouldn't stay again is if I finally got to actually move to Swanage! Looking forward to our next stay!
