Staying at The School House is a memorable experience and you won't be disappointed. Everything is first rate - from the warm welcome of Paul and Helene to the comfort of their rooms. Breakfast is delicious and leisurely and if you are lucky enough to have Paul cook you an evening meal, then that is a real treat. His menu for my stay had a Persian flavour with many fresh ingredients from his bountiful garden. The peace of The School House is the perfect relaxation after a busy day exploring York.

Lovely B&B. Warm welcome. Very cosy and a great breakfast. Need a car if you intend going into York, but don't let that put you off as Park & Ride is easy from the outlet shopping centre. Will definitely be back.
